Presently 330m, and have lived at altitudes 100m, 200m, and ~Sea-level. Can't say I have noticed much of a difference besides liking being next to the sea :p.

We are about 875 feet above sea level. Our terrain has big hills and valleys. Most of the area around us is wooded with a few fields.

This is out the backdoor in winter

I just posted this in another thread

We live very close to a big lake
Life is like a fire hydrant- sometimes you help people put out their fires, but most of the time you just get peed on by every dog in the neighborhood.

Very nice thread, and very nice photos posted around.

I have no idea how to find out exactly at which altitude I live, I searched for some info but didn't find anything. I would really like to know.

Anyway, in my home city the medium altitude would be around 200 metres. The altitude there ranges between ~40 (a river passing by)

    and ~400 meters (hills).

Where I live now... the altitude varies between ~0 (the sea)

    and ~900 meters (mountains).

I live around 500 feet. I am in a very interesting part of Illinois, I'm in a part where the Mississippi River, the flat cornfields, and the highest point are all a few hours from each other.

The reason the midwest is so flat and has such good soil is because the glaciers pushed the soil down from up north, and as they melted they left all that good stuff, but for whatever reason, the area in the northwestern most part of Illinois was not touched by glaciers, so it was not flattened.

There are lots of large rocky features in the area untouched by the glaciers, which I assume are limestone.

All along the Mississippi River and its tributaries there are lots of pretty much untouched forests

And then there are the corn fields, and soybean fields, which I assume look fairly close to the original prairies that covered nearly all of The Great Plains.

I live about 3500 feet above sea level, right now (I voted for where I normally live, though). This is the mountain in Northern California ("secede!") that I adore every morning.

After some consultation it appears Google Earth is not entirely reliable & I may be upwards of 100 ft higher then I thought.

This is basically the same area I live in. As-a-matter-of-fact the potable water that comes out of my taps comes from the lake in the last picture.

I voted that I believe I live at sea level. Maybe I'm slightly higher. I live in the Miami, Florida area.

About 22 metres above sea level.

Aside from an ever increasing number of mortals who have willfully chosen to worship Satan and his minions, our battle has always been against the powers and principalities operating surreptitiously throughout this twisted world.
