I came across Skadi whilst trying to find literature on returned German servicemen after World War 2.
Germany's Military and Culture has been my main interest since I was about six, and more specific aspects of these still remain my predominant interests.
I'm not sure where my place is here, but I look forward to finding it and trying to make some form of constructive contribution. Hopefully stimulating some discussion as I work my way through my limitless questions along the way.
Although white, this isn't a particularly great point of contention for me. I'm proud of the fact, and defiantly proud of my culture and heritage, but I don't feel this makes me 'better' than anyone else, and certainly don't feel the need to keep reasserting my whiteness.
It's reassuring to find that I can already identify ideals similar to my own in some members and I look forward to getting to know you all. Whilst getting a clearer picture on the general consensus for the White European's place in an ever more misguided world.
I've recently been reading alot on Postwar Germany and how Germany perceives itself now and I'm hoping this is where many of you will start to come into your own
Cheers
Allan
