Help How to Use This

I am new to this sight and would like it if someone could explaine how this works. How can i send messages to people on here? I was born in the US and find a need to understasnd my German heratige. Cultural, music, pre christen. What was Art like how do i learn German? Can anyone help me understand the true Germanic history? What we are taught here in the US i do not think it is correct.

There is really alot of information in this forum, I would look into the various sub forums.
Also there are German speaking people here who I'm sure would like to help you learn German. In the forum there should also be linked to some online language resources.
In your local book store you should be able to pick up the Rosetta Stone to learn German, I heard it was very good.
