Lightbulb Colour of Hair and Eyes in Europe Today

The widespread maps of hair (here) / eye (here) colour in Europe are inaccurate and partially false.

I created a more realistic map, which on the one hand is based on maps of former anthropologists (Coon, Biasutti, Czekanowski, Günther, Lundman, Montandon, Eickstedt, Banse), on the other on my contemporary estimations. The decrease of light colours (Günther called it “Entnordung”, which in English means “denordification”) until nowadays has been taken into account. I’ve made four gradations for light (blue, grey oder green) eyes (“helle Augen”) and seven gradations for blonde (not “light”, which would include red or light brown hair too, only real shades of blonde) hair (“blonde Haare”).

    Commendable work.

I've got a few questions though.
Why is the Upper Rhine valley darker than both bordering regions of Baden and Lothringen?
It was once described as the area where the Nordic (HFK Günther(?); Nordic in the sense of NS anthropology) race is most predominant in all of Germany.
If your estimation was correct it would've been quite a rapid denordification, from my own observations however, the population in those areas isn't darker than in the surrounding ones. Rather the opposite is the case.

Furthermore I was surprised to see that the larger part of Ireland is depicted as only having 50-75% of light eyes.
Coon however said the following about the Irish:
In the proportion of pure light eyes, Ireland competes successfully with the blondest regions of Scandinavia. Over 46 per cent of the total group has pure light eyes, and of these all but 4 per cent are blue. Very light-mixed eyes (equivalent to Martin #13-14) account for another 30 per cent, while less than one-half of one per cent have pure brown. There is probably no population of equal size in the world which is lighter eyed, and blue eyed, than the Irish.
Likewise both Norway (hair and eye colour) and Sweden (hair colour) seem too dark to me.
And the day they sold us out, Our hearts grew cold
'Cause we were never asked, No brother, we were told!
What do they know of Europe, Who only Europe know?

Actually,no one can make 100% correct maps for hair&eye color of europe, and at first I thought your map about hair color was unrealistic, but since you explained that you "blond"only refers to really blond hair not include light brown and red,I began to change my mind...
