Do You Think Adopting from Russia is a Good Idea for an Ethnically Conscious Germanic?

Yesterday, there was a program on the Discovery Channel about couples going to Russia to adopt babies. Russians have some Norse roots, but I don't know if they're considered Germanic enough because of their Slavic admixture. It's supposed to be very difficult to adopt a healthy white newborn in the U.S., so many people are going there to get them. What do you guys think?

I think that is a good question. I think for me it would depend on the depth of my desire to want a child. If I couldn't adopt an American child, and my heart was set anyways, then I might. Giving the fact you started with a new born, I figure you could raise it with your morals and ideas. ?

Hmm, I don't think so. First, think an ethnically conscious Germanic would have a pair from the same ethnicity and try to have children biologically. If that isn't possible, I think a Germanic baby from the same ethnicity should be adopted. Otherwise, if a foreign baby is adopted, how could someone call himself ethnically conscious? It can't be, in my view, anyway.

Charity begins at home. There are thousands of children in need of adoption in my state. You can find out about their history before you adopt. I newborn is cuter but other children need homes and families as well if they are going to be good citizens.

Raising such a child with a false ethnic and cultural identity is completely contradictory to the ideal of Germanic preservation. A Russian is a Slav, most have some degree of Asiatic influence, and thus the introduction of Russian adoptees into our societies does nothing more than mongrelize our people. It is better to have a smaller group of pure-bred Germanics, as the result of low fertility, than a large group of ethnically-mixed individuals masquerading solely as part of an ethnic group to which they have little to no biological connection.

I think that's like going from Greece to Bulgaria to buy cheaper tobacco, if you know what I mean. I find it appaling. If you can't adopt a 'healthy white' child in your own country, then that means you don't meet the requirements.
So no wonder such a person would run off to the other side of the world and buy a child from thirld worlders.

Why is the Russian baby availble for foreign adoption? Is it damaged physically &/or mentally? Russia is one of those countries - Romania is another - that had a reputation of having Europid infants available for adoption but they weren't necessarily healthy. You have to wonder why the children are up for adoption, Russia has one of the highest abortion rates in the world. Another thing, unless you know who the biological parents are you can't be sure if the child is racially compatible. But it could be worst. There are families in my area that have adopted from China.

Some neighbours of mine adopted a Russian baby about 8 or so years ago. The child is about 9 now so he hasn't experienced anything but Ireland. However he knows that he's from Russia originally and seems to have a slight inferiority complex about it. If anyone asks him where he is from (probably quite innocently in most cases) he takes a defiant tone telling them he's from Russia and that he's going back there when he's 16!

In terms of how he looks, he appears to be from north west Russia so he has minimal Asiatic features, perhaps none. The visual appearance he gives off is one of "yellowness" he has yellow hair skin and eyes and this is very rare in Ireland but not completely non-existent. As far a racial compatibility goes, there are people in my country who are born and bred here but who wouldn't look out of place in Morocco, I don't think this child is any less racially compatible than they are.

An ethnically conscious Germanic adopts another Germanic. Like ladybright says, charity begins at home. Help the children of your nation first, not the foreigners.
