I don't understand what I am "making up". I also don't understand what I wrote that seems to have pissed you off. You are coming off as quite condescending. I was only trying to help anyone who is interested in grappling arts (something I have practiced most of my life and coach). History is not my area of expertise.
I apologize if I have offended you, or anyone here on Skadi.

Wrestling is universal. No one really invented wrestling ... although it has been made to be more efficient throughout the times ; no one really declared " wrestling " as a superior form of self defense so as to test it out against the world , however the japs had a fervent belief that it was and thus they traveled all across the globe to spread this " gospel " of theirs.

We need to keep certain things straight here at skadi , we're here to discuss our real ancestry and not made up ones. In regards to making stuff up , you can go to stormfront ... and make up whatever you want about your own ancestry as well as the culture and ancestry of other races to your hearts content.
i think what you will find it what they were spreading was the philosophy that went with their arts

the physical movements(Arts) had been done all over the world and they know it.....but they kept hold of "their arts Traditions" better than anyone else and hence where we are today

Whites however are preeminent in sports that require upper body strength - rowing, shotput, javalin and we hold the top 50 throws in shot for example.

Our martial arts - boxing and wresTling, capitalise our upper body strength.

Chinks are small and nippy so they utilised kicks to compete against the greater physical power of russians for example.

So choose a martial art which is based on power and upper body strength if you are a WASP like me.

While I do know very little about martial arts I am not entirely sure this is accurate. Indo-European Indians, Tocharians, and Aryans substantial influences on the development of Far-Eastern societies. So these martial arts may not exactly be that alien to said European Caucasoid. For example Zen Buddhism was spread through China by a Caucasoid Indian Brahman.

Kelly McCann has said some interesting things about that. He points out how, in WWII, all the complicated and philosophical Eastern martial arts came to nothing when confronted with a 19 year old Marine swinging his M1 as a baseball bat.

Look at the book "Kill or Get Killed" (you can get it in PDF format on the net). It outlines the armed and unarmed "WWII combatives" that were taught back then to American GIs. They are easy to learn, hard to forget, use the body's natural movements, and play to the strengths of mostly european physiology. They aren't all artsy-fartsy, and are for taking people apart, period.

The 1943 edition is said to be better from a H2H perspective than the newer (1976?) edition that is most commonly found online. You can find it here (kogk1943_complete.pdf) and some other interesting stuff:

Also, let's remember JJ Styers and his Cold Steel. You find that, and much else, here:

    Arwrology, an interesting read:

That would probably be Get Tough by Fairbairn. It's not so much SAS as SOE.

Fairbairns "lecture notes" from WWII can be found here: http://www.scribd.com/doc/22105041/S...3-Close-Combat

Agreed. When I did TKD, at tournaments, I witnessed the superiority of simple boxing, combined with TKD kicking. The best ground system is JJ, mixed with wrestling. JJ is so wicked, however, I had to quit. My body couldn't take it at 45 years old.
