Dinarid and Pontid Types in Romanian Movie Clip

From a Romanian 70`s movie about an Early Modern Romanian anti-Habsburg Hajduk. What is interesting about this clip - and the reason why I posted it - is that most of the people appearing in it are Dinarids. The movie was shot on location, that is, in the old historical region of Maramures, in the relatively isolated mountainous area of northern Romania. Hence the extras are actual folk from the area, peasants then still living a life unaffected by modern culture. In a sense, the clip could be considered an anthropological field trip, and could help those inquiring for Dinarid and Pontid examples and those who are unable to tell the difference between a Dinarid and an Armenid.

    Pintea the Brave
(Don`t forget to watch at 480p!)

Dinarid examples: this man with dark brown hair and green eyes (Draculoid...) at #t=1m10s and at #t=2m16s

A red-haired Dinarid: #t=3m04s (for a brief moment, to the right).

A very interesting looking old-man at #t=3m05s. Notice the light pigmentation (Norid) combined with the very protuberant, yet straight (i.e. non Armenid/Arabid), nose.

The main characters (the brigand and the rest of the party) look Pontid, IMO. E.g. the girl at #t=2m21s and the main character at#t=1m24s. Alpinid/Baltid specimens are also visible.

Yeah, quite interesting. Such an old movie, it's a historical document with much value, as it is a view into the land-culture of people who lived their traditions. I like the rural environment it posseses. Also the music and the dances are unforgetable, you can't see them in no other country with this style. It's unique and it's romanian as romanian it can be. In Germany there exists only one institute in Jena, that learns about Romania, from it's history to the present developments and the language as well. I think they would be interested in watching these documents.
