Do You Own Any Flags?

I have an England flag, white dragon flag of the anglosaxons, rebel flag of the US protesTant south, raven banner of the vikings. I have two small nails ,painted wall color, at the top of the walls in my house at various locations and hang a flag when I feel like it.

I have a Principality of Transylvania flag, a German state and national flag, an Austrian national flag, a Norwegian and Swedish national flag and a small version of Sudeten Germans flag.

I own a whole host of flags, currently the only on the wall though is my Tyrol flag. Since it's perhaps not that wise hanging a Third Reich battle-flag if your window is at footpath level, even in the conservative countryside.

I have a American flag, a Indiana state flag, a Brown county Indiana flag, a West Baden Springs, Indiana flag, a Third Reich vehicle flag, and last but certainly not the least I have a Gadsden flag.

If you don't know what a Gadsden flag is, it is yellow flag with a coiled rattle snake ready to strike on it, with the words " Don't Tread On Me " in big bold letters. Also know for its use at TEA party rallies.

I fly them on a flag pole on the front of my house it depends on the mood I'm in as to what flag I fly. Lately I have been flying the Gadsden or the Indiana flag. In fact I have not flown the American flag since November of 2008 when the Waschbär was allegedly elected president.

I wonder how many black metal homes around the world has Norwegian flags I have a small Norwegian flag and a balcony size one. A few years ago me and some friends contacted a Norwegian flag manufacturing company, to produce the flag on Vargsmål. But it would cost a bit to do it, people didnt want to front the cash up front... But maybe I will do it on my own and just sell the rest of the flags.

It's hard to have too many flags. The rarest flag I own is a US Naval Ensign Jack - 50 stars on a blue field - no stripes - it actually saw service on a US river gunboat in Vietnam back in the 1960s. Several repro nicely made cotton sewn Confederate flags, including a 52" x 52" CS Infantry Battle Flag and a CS Naval Jack that is about 7' x 12' - huge - two equally large Texas flags - and then there are the original 3R flags, a 5' x 8' Reichskriegsflagge, a standard Party banner again roughly 5' x 8' - both are mint, possibly unissued - but my little gem is a small 3R national flag, 18" x 24" on a rope halyard with lots of moth holes - what makes it so unusual is that it was given to a friend of mine by a Jewish family that had immigrated to the US before the WW2. My friend was surprised that they had kept this flag so many years - and when he asked them 'why' they were taken aback by his question and said, "But why wouldn't we keep it? It was the flag of our nation when we left." (true story)
