Greetings lovely Skadi community,
My name is Bulstrode, in honor of my Grandparent's Saxon family name.
I've heard recently that you guys don't let anyone(?) on the forum who isn't %100 Germanic, I certainly agree that is a good policy, but I'd be lying if I said I was %100 Germanic myself. (I did indeed read all the rules, I didn't see anything about being fully Germanic to post, I may have missed it though)![]()
Honestly though, I'm of %100 Northwestern European heritage, in typical American terms, I'd say I'm probably %50 Gael, %50 Germanic. Of course that %50 Gael probably has plenty of Norse, and the %50 Germanic probably has plenty of Gaulish/Briton, so I'm pretty sure I'll fit in.
Now to the actual intro, hi, I think I had an account here at one time, lone ago, but I was younger and less mature then, hence the topic title. I've come back, and I'm ready to lurk, post, and enjoy the atmosphere; after all, it isn't every day you get to be around people who actually care about their heritage.
About me; I consider myself a Pagan. I still haven't found myself yet though, I mostly just revere my ancestors and nature, I would revere the Gods but we know so little about Germanic/Celtic Paganism in it's real form that it makes it difficult for me to embrace it. Plus, Paganism has been infected by degenerate hippies, it makes me sick how far they bend their backs to avoid being called racist. (oh yes, let's practice our culture yet at the same time promote the death of our people through multiculturalism, makes sense, right?)
As to my appearance, I have red hair, what I believe to be a Nordic face, broad shoulders typical of the Scots, milky skin, and gray eyes.I could pass for either a Viking or Gaulish warrior, and plan to do so at Ren Faires when I get the money for kits.
Mmm, so that's it, if my Gaelic roots are unacceptable, I understand and bid you all a grand auld day. If however they are acceptable, then wuuzzuuupp!!!![]()
