Do Christian Skadi Users Get on Well with Pagans?

I have spoke with several pagans/non christian users on this forum and some of them seem like great people.
However generally i find it hard to relate to most because i find our morals and ethics are a world apart.
Others seem to be overly hostile in there thought and speech in my view.
Regardless we should not let our theology divide us but find common ground on other vital issues.
But still it can be hard to unite when points of view can be so different.

You should consider reading through some of the threads, and you'll certainly see what many of the non-Christians think of the Christians.

I will say that there is a unity at Skadi that brings us all together and that is our race. Most here whether Christian or Heathen/Pagan will agree that it is our race and shared cultures that hold us together.

I would even say that most are Germanics first before they are whatever religion.
Life is like a fire hydrant- sometimes you help people put out their fires, but most of the time you just get peed on by every dog in the neighborhood.

Well said Bauginator! if we practised that, universally, we wouldn't be in so much 'divided strife'!

I have observed the theological differences, but I have noticed very little hostility. G Baughman pretty much summed things up nicely:

I will say that there is a unity at Skadi that brings us all together and that is our race. Most here whether Christian or Heathen/Pagan will agree that it our race and shared cultures that hold us together.
I believe that most of us, on this forum, are wise and mature enough, to put our theological differences aside, in our goal to preserve the Germanic community & culture.

For me it goes like this. You respect my thoughts and beliefs and I will respect
yours.I know all about Christianity,as an adult it just does not do it for me
anymore. But that does not mean I still don't have respect for Christians though, they are good people.
I just don't get along with those that try to cram their belief down my throat and those that constantly tell me I am going to burn in the pit of hell.Thats
    where I draw the line.

It seems to me that some people don't know their history or choose to ignore it: some of the Germanic peoples became Christian during the first centuries after Christ, and it was only then that Rome. With the fall of Rome, the Germanic people were able to spread out across Europe. The history of the Germanic people would be much different, and likely much less significant if it were not for the fact that the Germanics chose to become Christian.

I am definitely guilty of taking potshots at "christianity", but it has
more to do with my childhood experiences being raised in a rigid
religious sect that didn't tolerate smart-ass kids.

Since Christianity is far from a monolithic belief system, I really have
to refer back to my post about Joan de Arc and Jan Sobieski.
People make the religion, not the other way around.
I have met many Christians that I really liked and admired. But it was some
quality of the person that I admired, not the particular brand of theology
that they professed. Since I am no more attracted to an admirable person's
christianity than to a dishonorable person's christianity.
Likewise I am attracted to The Old Religion because of the qualities
of our ancestors that followed The Old Religion.

I find Christan as individuals nice people, and have no problem with them.

It is true that race is the most important. There are Germanic pagans who are race mixers, who are my enemy, whist there are Christians who believe in the preservation of the volk, who would be my friend. So it is always more complicated, than just pagan or not.

There, are some good things in Christianity, (mostly as a result of our influence) but I really cannot ever see the appeal of such weak doctrines.

But I guess we all can be ubermenschen!
