Favorite X-Files Character

I'll be the creator of the 3rd favorite character poll.

Several people here watched the X-Files as shown in the favorite TV series thread. I watched it too because of my interest in the paranormal, but I couldn't identify fully with any of the characters. Scully was too much of a skeptic for me, although I'm a fan of science. So Mulder's open mind towards the existence of aliens and her passion for science combined. Besides it's science itself that supports the existence of extraterrestrials.

Dana Scully. The show went downhill after season 5, when they moved production from Vancouver to Los Angeles. Though I thought the 2-part time warp episode with Morris Fletcher (season 6) was one of the most memorable.

CSM was one of the greater villains in television history. But how can someone so evil be your "favorite" X-Files character.

My favourite has to be Mulder. Come on, he is so weird and intelligent.

I just noticed "Alien Bounty Hunter" wasn't listed as a choice. I love that title.

I watched the entire series again during the past few months, and the special sort of humour of the X-files strikes me as quite unique. And at the same time, the humour never interferes with the main 'mystery' theme. I also like how some of the episodes are of the 'lighter' type, and some are more dramatic and serious, while the format of the show can be the subject of change. This keep The X-Files fresh.

It's hard to pick a favorite character because there are several minor characters who pop up in only one or two episodes, sometimes they only appear briefly, and several of them are very entertaining and true-to-life, and funny in unexpected ways.

Call me weird but I liked the Lone Gunmen trio.......though their breakaway tv series was a dismal flop.

I voted Mulder, just because I feel I can relate to him the most, what with his weirdness and all. Erm... on second thought, maybe that isn't exactly a good thing!
