On Average What Shape Orbits Do Nordics Have?

Something I have noticed is nordics have by far the nicest deep set eyes. Do there shape of the orbits have anything to do with how prominent there brow ridges are btw?

re looking at these pictures and others It seems to me that the upper part of Nordic orbits are prominent and stick out over the eyes. looks very striking imo. Would be interesting to find out why it's like this

Nordid and Dalofaelid are two strains which are often intermixed, but if looking at the typical variants of both, the very deep, low, rectangular orbits with smaller eyes are rather typical for Cromagnids (= Dalofaelid) than Nordid.

Nordid to can have them, but usually their orbits are higher, rounder, more open and though the eyes are deep, not as deep in comparison.

Thats rather a frequency difference and like many other frequency differents follow somehow a gradient from:
Dalofaelid (Northern Cromagnid) - Nordid - Atlantomediterranid - Gracilmediterranid - Arabid

All these forms can share the same eye shape, but there is a graduel change in frequencies it seems, with the biggest and mostly open eyes in Arabids, the smaller ones with low-rectangular orbits and external eyefolds in Cromagnids.

Thank you very much Agrippa. Your post educated me a lot on this subject. You said that Arabids generally have high orbits while Cromagnids have low orbits. Does this explain why generally speaking arabs have high placed eyebrows and hooded eyes while cromagnids have low placed eyebrows and deep set eyes?

    Thank you!

Well, some of those aspects are directly correlated, others not necessarily.

But very generally speaking, thats going in the right direction, even though its more of a frequency difference - like the thread title says, "on average", rather than on an individual base.

Here two extremes from the Europid spectrum:
Arabid from Yemen vs. reduced Balto-Cromagnoid from Latvia:

Typically they are extreme opposites in many ways, not just the orbit shape and its also typically, that even more Arabids are not as extreme, many Europids rather somewhere in between these two extremes.

This also relates to what I wrote here:
