Leopold I, King of the Romans, Germans and the Holy Roman Empire

Did the Holy Roman Empire have a Jewish king or something? Or was this the result of intermarrying with close relatives?

Those lips! I almost thought these paintings were caricatures at first.
I read somewhere that historians had confirmed that Louis the Fourteenth had distant jewish ancestry, so it wouldn't surprise me in the least if that was the case with Leopold here.
What an odd looking figure he must have struck to the average German on the street.

I would classify Leopold I as Dinarid.

The Habsburgs are believed to have originated in Swabia. I think there is a significant Dinard influence present there.

Apparently, mandibular pronagthism which contributed to the large lip look was not uncommon amongst the inbred Habsburg Royal House.
