Gay Dutch Soldiers Responsible for Srebrenica Massacre Says US General

    UK Telegraph

Gen Sheehan made the remarks at a Senate hearing where he argued against plans by President Barack Obama to end a ban on allowing gays to serve openly in the US military
    --------
Gen Sheehan said that after the end of the Cold War, European militaries changed and concluded "there was no longer a need for an active combat capability."

He said this process included "open homosexuality" which resulted in "a focus on peacekeeping operations because they did not believe the Germans were going to attack again or the Soviets were coming back."

"The case in point that I'm referring to is when the Dutch were required to defend Srebrenica against the Serbs," he said, referring to the UN peacekeeping force deployed to protect Bosnian Muslim civilians.

"The battalion was understrength, poorly led, and the Serbs came into town, handcuffed the soldiers to the telephone polls, marched the Muslims off and executed them."
    ---------------------
Did the Dutch leaders tell you it (the fall of Srebrenica) was because there were gay soldiers there?" asked an incredulous Levin.

"Yes," Sheehan said and added: "They included that as part of the problem."

Gen Sheehan, who retired from the military in 1997, said he had been told that by the former chief of staff of the Dutch army.

That US general is a twat and a disgrace to militarism to say something like he did.

Dutch troops were defending that enclave while it wasn t really defendable( Sebrenica lies in a valley, surrounded by hills on all sides) and nobody had the guts to defend(because it was a strategic hell hole), moreover the Dutch troops didn't have the poilitical mandate to go on a fighting mission with heavy weapons.

There were Dutch F-16's on stand by, ready to defend Sebrenica...but they were under the command of a French General and US high command.
Dutch troops called in air strikes, most of them wanted to fight (despite they were defending muslims).

Dutch commanders surrendered while US/Dutch and French politicians were debating how to counter this Serb offensive.
You might say the Dutch commanders might be homosexual, just like the US and French politicians and generals.

TROOPS DON T MAKE THE CHOICE TO FIGHT, POLITICIANS DO.

Either way, US policy (NATO)was wrong to defend those Bosnian muslims.

Holland troops could not do anything in Srebrenica. They were there like a puppets. The UN has assumed jurisdiction in Srebrenica 1993rd. During this time, Muslims have felt protected, and their paramilitaries under the command of Gen. Naser Oric from time to time coming out of the territory of Srebrenica and killed Serbian civilians in the peripheral villages. The UN should make the request Srebrenica demilitarized zone, but this is not done. Serbs have tolerated Oric's attacks about a year and a half. Finally in July 1995, a drop was spilled glass. General Ratko Mladic launched an offensive on Srebrenica. Holland troops were left aside (would have had no chance against the Serbs, because they had no heavy weapons). Serbian offensive was launched by the principle of Blitz Krieg. The UN Command had no time to react. That the Dutchmen were gays is a total nonsense. There was no time for anything.

    What about the SA?

I am not a supporter of NS, but still I would like to remind the dear general that many of the most ferocious SA-men were actually homosexuals. They did not lack in fighting spirit!
