What do you think of Ron Paul?

What do you think of Ron Paul? Personally I believe that as of now he is the only candidate that looks good. He has a strong voting record that he can be very proud of. He has a strong record when it comes to the second amendment, taxation, and the tenth amendment. He seems to be one of the only politicians left that obeys the constitution as the supreme law of the land. But enough of what I think about him what do you think?

What do I think? I think Ron Paul is the greatest thing since the Founders! I'm supporting his campaign with online donations and involvement in the local Meetup groups. This is the People's Revolution - American style.

I'm personally ecstatic that someone worth voting for Prez is actually running.

Me too…it has been well over 100 years since someone like this has come along!

Economically too liberal but well he is better than the rest of them because he does not seem to be controled by other powers and seems that he wants to prevent further wars. Best candidate but that does not mean much

Woooo…what do you mean economically too liberal. He is economically the most conservative candidate that there is…his policies so conservative that they are libertarian. So please let me know what you mean by too liberal.

If I lived in America he would get my vote, I may not absolutely agree with him but he's the best candidate of them all. As he said, his primary objective is to restore the constitution, exactly what the US needs.

Isn't Bush a conservative from Texas? Just kidding, please don't shot me.

But lets say Paul does get elected president. Do you think the congress would support him? The Republicans are just as big spenders as the Democrats. They could unite to overrule President Paul's spending vetos.

We Euros still use the old meaning of the word "liberal", whereby the term refers to free market ideologues, either of a neo- or classical liberal persuasion. Essentially, what you'd consider conservative economic policies. This is what I like most about Dr Paul.

My apologies…we are two great people separated by a common language. I understand now. Thanks.

That is the problem, he will still have to deal with tax and spend republicans…but even if he is elected and his presidency fails because of congress it will hopefully rock the boat enough to change congress as well.
