Wulfaz, to be fair, that song by Sabaton is not so much Christian as it is Papist and anti-German. Folks need to make songs about the defense of Christendom from outsiders, like the Powerwolf track. I also don't like Heathen lyrics if they are anti-Christian and wouldn't want to hear Heathen bashing either.

Leviticus was a Christian metal band from Sweden. Their style reminds of the 80s.

    Leviticus - Over The Hills

Christian metal would also be the American band Demon Hunter.

Demon Hunter - Blood in the Tears

The alternative rock/metal band Flyleaf was charted on Christian pop and Christian metal genres. Because of the many religious references in their music, they are also considered to be a Christian rock band. The band says they are Christians who play in a rock band, and their faith is heard within their music. Lacey Sturm who left the band in the meantime has also sung Christian-themed songs.

    Flyleaf - Again

    Flyleaf - Fully Alive

    Lacey Sturm - Mercy Tree

    Lacey Sturm - The Reason

So has the, in some ways, similar band Icon for Fire, although their message doesn't limit itself to Christians, but to "save the world". Despite this, several writers have identified them as part of the Christian music scene, and some critics have noted references to the members' Christian faith in their lyrics.

    Icon For Hire- The Grey

Icon For Hire - Get Well

Red are a Christian rock and metal band who also sing alternative metal.

    Red - Breathe Into Me

    Red - Still Alive

The Fray's initial songs contained lyrics with strong religious messages. However, the band decided against being an entirely religious outfit because they believed that God had called them away from the Christian music genre and into a secular market. The band members' lives were largely formed in Denver churches where they helped lead worship, and in the Christian school three of them attended.

The Fray - You Found Me

Contemporary Christian band MercyMe sing indie rock and worship music.

    MercyMe - Beautiful

    MercyMe - Flawless

Casting Crowns are a contemporary Christian and Christian rock band started by a by youth pastor who also serves as the band's lead vocalist.

Casting Crowns - Oh My Soul

Casting Crowns - Who Am I

Also, if you like softer music, Plumb sings Christian rock and contemporary Christian music with pop and soft rock tones.

Plumb - Lord I'm Ready Now

Plumb - Need You Now (How Many Times)

    Plumb - Don't Deserve You

I don't think Seattle band Fifth Angel were strictly Chrisitian but their lyrics are often mystical in a Biblical way . . .

    Bloody good in any case!
