More PC: James Cameron's Next Project About Hiroshima

While "Avatar" continues to clean up at the box office, James Cameron may have signaled his next move as a director this week by buying the rights to "The Last Train From Hiroshima: The Survivors Look Back," an upcoming non-fiction book by Charles Pellegrino, the Guardian reports.

Yamaguchi suffered serious burns to the upper half of his body in the Hiroshima attack of 6 August 1945. He then returned to his hometown of Nagasaki, which was hit by a second bomb just three days later. Officially recognised as the only person to have survived both blasts, Yamaguchi went on to speak at the United Nations and wrote books and songs about his experience. He was a long-time campaigner for nuclear disarmament

Actually, there's nothing politically correct about Hiroshima. The Japanese were part of the Axis powers, and it would be a stark difference to other period pictures which show demonic German Nazis murdering Jews. For once America would be painted as the bad guy and it would show how horrible nuclear weapons really are. But I doubt he will make this anytime soon. Next up is either Avatar 2 or Battle Angel.

It was a horrible attack, and the whole thing was orchestrated by Jews anyway (although I'm sure that's not how he'll spin it).
