Loki and I have a disagreement about her pedigree and classification. So I decided to let the people decide, you know, good ol' freedom and democracy!

I can not find any information about her ethnic background, if anyone has information please post it. Thank you.

Brittany Murphy was born to Sharon Murphy on November 10th, 1977 in Atlanta GA. (Her parents later divorced.) She grew up in the NY/NJ area but later moved to Burbank, CA.

She doesn't look Nordish to me at all. Mediterranean in the best case.

I was reading an artical one time on her I forgot what it was though. I think she had Italian,Irish, and a slavic nation.

One person on a website claimed she has Amerindian ancestry and had a nose job, but this could just be speculation.

Here is Nordhammer, misrepresenting me deliberately. And this after he said she was a "mongrel" = nonwhite. She is not a mongrel.

This is what I have told Nordhammer, and only after seeing a handful of pics:

Loki: But there can be any admixture... yet she is largely Europid
Mark: I'm not claiming she's mostly Negroid or Mongoloid lol

Mark: She was and is perfect: Her gorgeous medium-brown skin, her high cheekbones (the result of her American Indian heritage, perhaps?)

I was joking about the "mongrel", an exaggeration, but am suspicious of her pedigree by her appearance. She reminds me of Gwen Steffani. I doubt she is purely white but I could be wrong.

Now that I have seen her "true colours", I agree that she is not Nordish. But still European. Yet she may have some admixture...

The way Hollywood dresses up people, it's not always easy to tell. Some think Mariah Carey is white.

I think that she is "white". As far as you can tell by looking at celebrities anyway.

Her pigmentation isn't Nordish ( dye-job + brown eyes).
