Thumbs Down Immigration Comes Before Public Health

Tubercolosis is spreading in Australia due to migrants from Papua New Guinea bringing the fatal disease with them into all regions of Australia.

Migrants are screened for TB however it can remain undetected in a carriers body for months before it can be detected.

Dr Konstantinos said it was “certainly true” tuberculosis was on the rise “across Australia”.

“It is related to a change in migration patterns and increased incidence of people developing TB after they have migrated,” he said.

“For Queensland our immediate neighbours are the highest part of our burden,” he said. “Migrants have very high rates of infection. All you can do when you screen for TB is screen for disease but you can’t screen for the large number of people who will develop disease in the future.”

That's all? All that can be done? Unbelievable! How about just not letting anyone from the infected countries enter Australia? How can people be so blind and careless?

Remember, as soon as these immigrants arrive they are given a medcare card etc etc. If they are sick, we pay the bill..
I am aware of a friend of a friend who is Chinese, he moved here last year, then brought his wife and kids over 6 months later. Then (recently) brought over his father and mother (who are both ill and require substantial medical support).
They all have access to medicare and we, the Australian taxpayer are footing the bill.
In the conversation about the family it was said that none of them had ANY medical checks at all before being granted entry and residency.
Why are we letting this happen? Why do we work all our lives in this country to earn the right to benefits whilst these non-english speaking, jobless are allowed to flow in and then 'sign up' for medical payments...?
When any of my family came to Australia, they had to work -hard- for their money and were not given handouts like todays immigrants.

IMO what drives these policies are three things:

    1) Business profits with cheap imported labor
    2) Left-wing social engineers who not only hate capitalism but want to get rid of white people, and
    3) Self-loathing whites who think its our duty to provide every 3rd world back water with "opportunity."

Looks like Tiger Woods. In the US, tuberculosis was all but 100% eradicated until the 1980s when two things happened: the rise of AIDS and amnesty for illegal Mexicans. Third world migration is the cause of most tuberculosis in the first world and is one of the many reasons why these people should not be here. Treatments and precautions for TB and a host of other third world diseases are costing us trillions.
