To be perfectly honest, I would trust him far more than our current government. The situation is so bad, people have become even more hostile towards the current government than they felt towards the last government they overthrew, and various measures are already being taken in attempt to overthrow it. I think Bill and Hillary, though being foreigners, would have the interests of the Icelandic public in mind, much more so than the traitors currently sitting in parliament. Regardless of anyone here being a big fan of, indifferent to, or an enemy of Bill Clinton, if you really knew the details of the situation here and what the parliaments real priorities are, you would agree with me. They have no pride, no moral code, and most importantly they do not share the love of freedom of the Icelandic public.

You do remember this this guy was in fact impeached from office, a feat even Richard Nixion could not manage. Had there been a balanced House and senate, he would probably have been removed form office.
Trust me, any random people, selected by a pure chance, some kind of lottery system, to run things in stead of those traitors, would do a far better job. Various measures are already being taken to overthrow the government...the Icelandic way. For hundreds of years we have managed to resolve our conflicts, internal and external, even during the two "Cod Wars" with Britain, without Icelanders ever resorting to violence or doing other people bodily harm of any kind. We are even considered by many to be the most peaceful nation on earth in all of human history.LOL!

I have no problem with peaceful change of government, when it can be done. It sure beats the alturnative, that is for sure.
But Truly most politicians what ever country they come from are generally "Driven" to have power over other people. So many of them are often ego maniacs.
From what I know of the Althing, it seems to be a very fair system.
Although that being said, any system over time can and will be broken by crooks.
