    Conservatives Rule Out Treaty Referendum

The Conservatives will not hold a referendum on the EU treaty if they win a general election, shadow foreign secretary William Hague has announced.

Mr Hague said ratification of the treaty by the Czech Republic - the last EU country to do so - meant the Tory campaign for a referendum "ends today".

He said Tory leader David Cameron would set out details of a new policy on Europe on Wednesday.

Mr Cameron has been under pressure to hold a post-ratification referendum.

Eurosceptics in his own party have accused him of reneging on a "cast iron" guarantee made in 2007 to hold a referendum on any treaty that emerged from EU talks if he became prime minister.

Mr Cameron said the treaty passing into European law would "create a new situation" and he would set out his response in a speech at 1600 GMT on Wednesday. (Continues)

Labour, Conservatives, Liberals.... all pigs with their snouts in the same trough.

Czech President Vaclav Klaus has signed the EU’s Lisbon Treaty on the same day that Tory leader David Cameron has finally admitted that his party lied to the electorate all along about holding a referendum on the issue in Britain.

Mr Klaus signed the treaty today after a Czech constitutional court dismissed objections lodged by a group of senators. His signature has now cleared the way for the creation of the EU superstate which will have a president and take control of all member states’ foreign and immigration policies.

The Czech approval removed the last semblance of the lie behind which Mr Cameron and the Conservative Party had been hiding.

In his statement, Mr Cameron lamely announced that once the Lisbon Treaty was endorsed by all 27 EU members, it will “not be a treaty” but will be part of European law.

The British National Party’s website was one of the first media forms to point this out a while ago. Mr Cameron and his fellow compulsive Tory liars denied this fact until yesterday.

Speaking at a press conference in London, Mr Cameron said ratification will mean a UK vote is no longer possible. “We want to have a referendum on the Lisbon Treaty but clearly it seems we are getting closer to the point where the treaty is not going to be a treaty but becomes part of European law. It looks as if times are changing.”

It is utterly impossible that Mr Cameron and the rest of the Tory party leadership did not know this to be a fact a long time ago.

Anyone with an internet connection could have found out that once implemented, the Lisbon Treaty was cast in iron and could not be “undone” except by a member nation’s total withdrawal from the EU itself.

Mr Cameron and the Tories chose to lie blatantly to the public on the topic, promising over and over again that they would hold a referendum on the issue.

One can only wonder at what deeply psychologically disturbed people must sit at the top leadership of the Conservative Party. What type of person would deliberately lie about a key aspect of their policy, in the full knowledge that they would eventually be publicly exposed as liars by the facts?

The only other explanation for such psychologically abnormal behaviour would be extreme stupidity.

This, of course, cannot be completely ruled out as the Tory leadership is already on record as being mind-numbingly stupid on a number of other policy issues. Recent examples include:

    – The Tory promise to double the foreign aid from the present £8 billion to nearly £15 billion despite huge budget cuts at home;

    – The encouragement of mass Third World immigration which is destroying Britain; and

    – The Tory policy to privatise Royal Mail — when the loss of that organisation’s market share to a de-regularised market is the primary cause of the problems in the Post Office.

Given the above, it cannot be discounted that Mr Cameron and the other Tory leadership have been equally stupid when it comes to the legal implications of the Lisbon Treaty — but it is far more likely that they have just been lying once again.

The choice is and always has been: stay in the EU and lose sovereignty to the EU, or leave that organisation. There is no other option — and the Tories have now chosen theirs.

Now every resistance against that centralistic and totalitarian Lisabon treaty crumbled. I´m frustrated to a very high degree. Well, I´ve expected Vaclav Klaus to drop dead but I´ve to confess that I had some hope regarding David Cameron.

Unfortunately, there was never any hope for Cameron The Tories have received the same instructions from Mr. Rothschild and the globalist elite as Labour but he maintained the illusion (for a while) that there is still some difference between the 2 major UK political parties.

Once this façade of "democracy" has been seen through and party politics becomes totally discredited I believe we will enter the next phase, which will be the ruling Establishment versus the People!

Like Valkyrie, I, too, had some hope that Cameron's hostility to the Lisbon Treaty was genuine, but, given the nature of mainstream European politicians, his deceit is not particularly surprising. It is likely the Conservatives were hoping the obstacle presented by Vaclav Klaus would have lasted longer, perhaps until next year's election, to maintain the ruse and win political points. I hope this untimely development costs Cameron support, and empowers the sincerely Eurosceptical wing of his party. Perhaps disenfranchised voters in the latter camp will even head to the BNP. As for Klaus, his concern was limited to ensuring that Sudeten Germans will have no ability to seek the return of their land, and so he emerges as the most despicable character in this charade.

Actually, I'm going to have to point out here: Mr. Cameron isn't exactly at all our ally by any stretch of imagination - but here motioning for a referendum would be futile now all 27 heads of state have signed it. It's simply not possible.

You can't start a referendum about preventing a treaty which has already entered force. And since the UK parliament is no longer legislatively supreme but subordinate to EU Law, there is no real way to change that by UK Domestic Law by some clever back door, either.

You can't kill a treaty retrospectively, so the only hope for him to stand true to his words would have been for Klaus to postpone his signing until after the General Election. Something which he also couldn't do, as with the jurisdiction of the Constitutional Court, he has no other option within the legal framework but to sign. The court evidently knew this, that's probably why they ruled it constitutional.

This, actually for once, isn't a case of going-with-the-flow --- it actually really is a case of legal impossibility. Essentially, the only thing that can stop the treaty altogether now is civil war, expansionist politics, or other measures outside the existing legal framework.

The only thing left to do is to have it ruled unconstitutional by a court which has not yet ruled it constitutional (in some countries that is all possible - Austria for instance), something which the FPÖ have announced that they will charge for the day it enters into force. But these are all national matters, which can't prevent the treaty per se.
-In kalte Schatten versunken...

(Heimdalls Wacht, In kalte Schatten versunken, stanzas 4-6)

This latest stab in the back should benefit UKIP & BNP.
