    Congress Wants to Put Hate-Group Ban Into Law

    The job of recruiters could get tougher as a result of a provision in the compromise 2010 defense policy bill that bars enlistment of anyone who has been an active participant in an extremist group.

    This would include any groups advocating discrimination based on race, sex, creed, religion or national origin, especially if the group advocates to the use of violence—something recruiters will have to screen for if the bill becomes law.

    Participation in such groups already is prohibited for current service members by regulation, but the compromise defense bill, HR 2647, also puts the prohibition into law.

    The House of Representatives gave final approval to the bill two weeks ago and the Senate is expected to take the bill up in the next few weeks.

    {snip}

    The House-passed plan called for the immediate discharge of anyone associated with a hate group. For current service members, the House plan had an exception from immediate discharge if a person had previously renounced their membership in a hate group. No exceptions were allowed for recruits who had been associated with hate groups, so even if they had renounced their membership they would have been barred from enlisting.

    {snip}

    Generally, Defense Department policies have determined that active participation in an extremist group is any involvement that furthers the group’s aims, which could be leadership, organizing, fundraising or attending public meetings or demonstrations, even when off-duty.

    I wonder if they would classify the NAACP as a hate group.

    Advocating on behalf of a particular group based on religion, gender or race should be seen as discriminating against persons who are not members of that group. But in reality it is directed at Whites & White males. Members of the NAACP, La Raza or NOW have nothing to fear.

    They are just now letting the details out about this bill and then they will probably change it for the worse at the last minute.

    I researched this law. I have a few comments.

    What is true is that this bill is very close to passing right now...

    However, this article is very misleading.

    In truth, H.R. 2647 is a massive bill that is mainly about the Department of Defense. It has budgets, rules about who gets what medals, what pay for veterans, land being bought by the military, how many fighters have to be on each carrier, missle defense.... there are over 1,000 sections to this bill. Only one section at all says anything remotely related to the claims of this article:

    Section 524 -
    Prohibits a person affiliated with a group associated with hate-related violence against groups or persons or the U.S. government from being recruited, enlisted, or retained in the Armed Forces. Requires the immediate discharge of current members determined to be so associated, but allows an exception with respect to a member who has renounced such an association.
    This is pretty much already DOD's policy. Saying they will ban all Hate groups and such is sort of... a stretch. Or a lie.

    I think this article was written about an older bill that died and passed along this one section. At least I hope that was the case.

    Anyhow, just thought you guys might like to know.

    As said its already policy but now its law. But really the laws aren't enforced. If they were every politician who supports the Small Business Associations minority grants would be a member of a group that discriminates. Every person supporting the NAACPas said, every person who is a member of a Native American tribe etc.

    But the bill there seems to say hate related violence. This would mean that KKK members and neo-Nazis could join because how often do we see these people act violently (other than one crime done 50 years ago that is replayed in the news or reenacted in a movie every so often)? Really the law is applied by people and the best offensive would be to change the thoughts of society as a whole. Point out to more and more people the logical contradictions and social injustice involved in these sorts of laws.

    I say let the US Armed Forces discharge anyone they want, then recruit them into nationalist organizations and militias.

    The current Administration wants to finance and Anit-American Anti-White, Socialist Police state the very thing WE the TAX payers financed the US armed forces to stop.
    IE the USSR

    I say de-fund them.
    There is no longer a Soviet Union, and as such there really is no need for a NATO Globalist military other than to enforce BS globalist laws.

    Put the extra Money into the space program or something useful, or refund it to the private sector.

    I think a thread about the "usefulness" about the space program would be interesting.

    I do agree that we no longer need such an expensive military. Why buy air superiority fighters, for instance? Wouldn't it be easier to just not sell our enemies weapons?

    The founding fathers were suspicious of a large standing military, because it is so easy for one to become a tool for tyrants.
