Density of Population in the The New World 1492

A map showing the population density of North America at the time Columbus discovered the New World in 1492. The density shown is population per 100 square kilometers or approximately 38.6 square miles. The most densely populated areas were in what is now Mexico, Central America & the Antilles, the homeland of most of the current Amerindian & Mestizo population of North America. In what is now the US, only the northern Rio Grande Valley approached a density of 375+ per 100 sq. kilometers - this is the area of the Pueblo peoples who still live in their pueblos. The Pacific Coast was the second most densely populatated area at 150-375 per 100 sq. kilometers or about 1.3 to 9.7 per sq. mile. Noticed that some areas of the current US had densities as low as 0-10 per 100 sq. kilometer (0-.25 per square mile) including a very fertile tract covering much of the Ohio Valley.

I know there are Indian burial mounds all over the ohio valley as well as some famous ones that draw out snakes and other animals. I also know that the Great Lakes were mined for copper. The local natives told a story of white people coming on boats and mining the copper hundreds of years before columbus and then disapearing. Interestingly copper arrowheads and other artifacts were found there and used hundreds of years earlier but then mysteriously the natives stopped using copper. The official story is that the native story of whites mining copper was just something they dreamt up before they even saw a white man. Of course we also know that the vikings founding America is make believe along with Kennewick man and stone age migrations from western europe.

But the white copper miners weren't permanent residents. They mined the copper and shipped it out and left. I guess they sold copper arrow heads and such to natives and used some themselves.

Anyway the fertile Ohio valley was mostly used as hunting grounds. A few hundred natives would wounder around an area the size of a state following game and such. Ohio is actually an Indian word as is Kentucky so yeah there was presence. Another thing I heard was that there are more Indians in America now than when Columbus arrived. Yet we are told the horrible white man killed them and stole their land. They never were here in significant numbers.

We give Indians free blankets and food and a now we are made to feel guilty about it. We "purposely" infected the blankets with smallpox and diseases that barely affect our race. But they destroyed entire tribes. How did we know that? How do you purposely infect something anyway- did they have bio warfare back then? I thought they didn't even know about germs then?? And if they aren't genetically inferior what do you all it when your genes give you a disadvantage in life? I love how we rewrite history fill it up with white guilt then shove it down our kids throats.

There was an Amerindian civilization called the "Mississippian that flourished from 800 AD to approximately 1500 AD. They built the mounds at Cahokia, Illinois & the Angle Mounds at Evansville. The Mississippian Civilization started collapsing in the 13th & 14th centuries. The Ohio Valley settlements were abandoned long before Columbus arrived in the New World.
