I find myself watching less and less television, and when I do it is purely for the purpose of escapism, or information. And as long as you are aware of what it is you are watching, I don't think there is any propaganda so subtle that it would be able to surreptitiously influence your mind.

Another thing I loved about it was that it being an English sitcom it didn’t focus on making the French or the Germans stupid, but rather it made the English look very foolish

I highly recommend it if you haven’t seen it before
    Oh, I remember "`Allo, `Allo"!

That british officer who spoke what was supposed to be very badly pronounced french (only it was reaaaaally badly pronounced english) was my favourite.

Oh, and "lizten verry carefully - I shall zay zis only wanze". :

I mainly just watch films, which I really enjoy, and documentaries, but very seldom do I watch tv. With films, I try to generally avoid hollywood and all of its rubbish. But I agree with Vikinkur here; one should always be careful about what one consumes.

I enjoy the discovery channel and specials on the history network. Though most of the time I just watch movies. Books don't help me unwind, so it's either lounging infront of the television for a bit or a long walk.

"NOVA" eh? I happen to watch it aswell, but I doubt it's the same as in the USA.

It's an actuality program. The only things I watch are: news, actuality and the Simpsons, from time to time also films.

My favorite channels are: Fox,Discovery Channel, and PBS

I also like to watch both the Local and World News.
I like Discovery Channel aswell, also National Geographic and Animal Planet, despite the many ads.

I don't watch television at home. When I'm at friends' homes, we usually watch specific historical, scientific or comedy programs that look interesting.

The concept of "vegging out" and just watching the pictures is anathema to me.

I watch the occasional documentary, but TV is a waste land. I have no use for the electronic fireplace except as a cup holder every once in awhile.

I read, read, and read more. My time is better spent reading the classics than letting my brain rot watching the jew tube.

The Shield (one of the best moments is when Shane pisses on a negro), Simpsons, and the News "...and last night another person was shot at 3AM in Wilkinsburg while standing on a street corner..." :icon_ques But that's about it.
