An extra credit assignment I'm working on for my anthro. course, critiques, and such welcome, the subject was a Mesolithic Swedish skull from TROE, I would be very interested to see some attempts to reconstruct the skull by other folks to see how the "artists" mind influences such reconstructions, my main issue in doing these is estimating tissue thickness, I tend to draw out the musculature in the face in a separate layer before doing the full face then try to factor in fat storage etc...:
This is a cool project! I think the nose is to large and the ears are set to low. I like to sketch human faces and bodies and the nose and ears are the most difficult to get right.

The ears I tried to mold around the cavity sketched in the skull on the side profile, and on the front profile I used a trick my art instructors taught me, go by keeping the ears length from the brow to the tip of the nose.
