I watched a lot too, even though most are older than me. Oh well.

As a wee lad I'd always tune into G.I. Joe, Transformers, Thundercats, and He-Man. Also liked the Flintstones and the Jetsons.

Umm... those are the only '80s cartoons I can think of right now off the top of my head. In retrospect, they all pretty much sucked. The animation was terrible.

None of them had the enduring appeal and brilliant animation of older classic cartoons like Bugs Bunny and Tom & Jerry. If some of these cartoons aired today I'm sure the PC establishment would be up in arms.

Rightpath beat me ot it. Inspector Gadget was one of my favorites also.

Here are a few more I watched as a kid:

    Dungeons and Dragons

Fonz and the Happy Days Gang

This one is called 'Mr .T.
This was a popular show among suburbanite children.
It is a very good example of how young Whites were indoctrinated to think that muscular black men were cool.

I was very fascinated by Western cartoons after the wall came down. Before that, it was Sandmännchen.

    Sandmännchen

But really, they don't make cartoons like they used to...

    The Smurfs

    Dennis the Menace

    Flintstone Kids

    Jetsons

    Richie Rich

    Scooby and Scrappy Doo

    Captain Planet

    Captain Caveman

    Galtar and the Golden Lance

The Real Adventures of Jonny Quest

    She-Ra Princess of Power

The first cartoons I watched weren't American. Perrine was not quite the 80s, but 1978, which is close enough in my view. Nils Holgersson from 1980. Sandy Belle is from 1981.
