What if Ontario and the Great Lakes States joined as one and seceded?
Perhaps if the old Dixie seceded and annexed the Caribbean?
What if the Southwest and California seceded to annex Mexico?
What about the Pacific Northwest joining with British Columbia and seceding?
What about the Prairie provinces and the Great Plains states becoming one?
What about Alaska and Yukon?
Well, hypothetically speaking, it would make most sense, if such a thing were to occur, for New England and Ontario to "become one". As for Québec, I am a seperatist so I believe it should be on its own. There is no doubt that North America is a very complex continent, more so in its oldest regions (where the "old" blood still remains) which is why I do not believe its current boundaries fully represent its peoples. If Canada were to be split up I'd say the West would be on its own (mostly likely with many Native reserves around), Ontario, Québec, the Maritimes (the unity they have always desired) and the Northern territories. That is how I believe it would be split up.
What about the old Northwest Territories rejoining and with Greenland?
New England and Ontario have little connection that I know of. The Mid-Atlantic states and Great Lake states are forever bound to Ontario, but not New England. I think if Quebec annexed Labrador and New England annexed the Maritimes, things could change better for the economy of both. I suppose that since Quebec has the South Shore that Newfoundland would have to be part of New England as well. What do you think about this arrangement? I would call Quebec New France once again.Originally Posted by NormanBlood
