This book has fantasic information on every aspect of Ancient Germanic life and how we think. People, origin, home life, warriors, weapons are just a few of the many subjects explained. Highly recommended. Written long before political correctness. One of Hitler's favorite books.

I actually have an original copy from 1892 that was my Great Grandfathers. This book is a must read more than any book I have ever read on Germanic origins. It tells about every aspect of life of the Nordik/German /Viking kulture. With quotes from ancient Roman scholars and much before.it goes into the land the people ,family life wars ,warriors ,farming customs, weapons making ,trade religion (pagan)and every aspect of the early German I read it every night to my Daughter and She knows exactly who She is and who her anscestors were. Some parts are pretty heavy but not insurmountable. It is my German "worship book"

I did find a link with an on-line version of the book. I have not had anytime to do a lot of reading yet, but it looks fascinating!
