Austrians: The Ugliest People of Europe?

I know that many of the people on this forum are from Europe, live in Europe, or have been to Europe. And probably many of you have seen some portion of Austria and her people. I have a question for anyone who have experienced Austria and seen her people, or anyone who is or knows people of Austrian descent. My question is this: are Austrian people ugly, and are Austrian people characterized as the ugliest people in Europe?

I have a story for those of you who are curious as to why I would ask such a question. I have a friend who seems to have a problem with people of the same race breeding with one another, but that detail comes later. I was talking with her one night, I don't remember what brought it up, but we began to discuss Austria. And she told me that Austrian people "are the ugliest people in Europe." And that it is because "they only marry and have children with themselves that makes them so ugly." And that "most Europeans consider Austrian people to be the ugliest people of Europe." She also said that Americans are considered the most beautiful people because of all of the racial mixing that they do, it is racial mixing that causes someone to be beautiful. I found it odd that she was so comfortable sharing this opinion with me because anyone who sees Leofric and me sees just how similar in appearance we are, so I have clearly chosen to breed with another of my own race.

I asked her how much of Austria she had seen and she said that she had been to the Capital and to a village just outside of the Capital. I tried to point out that her comment was really not based on very good evidence and that I was thought that beautiful Austrians could be found, perhaps, outside of the Capital. I also told her that if people only went to Washington D.C. they might come away from the experience thinking that all Americans are ugly. And her response was that "no, all Austrian people are ugly, everyone in Europe feels that way, and the reason they are so ugly is because they are so racist and only are willing to have children with themselves."

She has only spent a short time in Austria. The knowledge of this fact added to her hugely sweeping assumptions left me in a really negative state of mind. I then went to searching the internet for pictures of Austrian people and found pictures of some of the most beautiful people I've ever seen, concluding then that she must have really bad taste when it comes to beauty.

I have never been to Austria but hope that many of you have and would be willing to share your experiences of how beautiful or not beautiful Austrian people are. I know that many of you have probably had more exposure to Austria then she has. Please share your thoughts on the topic with me.

I don't know how to disabuse people of these sort of brainwashed notions, but maybe somebody else can suggest tactics? It is a question that needs answering, if common sense in such matters is to be restored among the MTV generation and those that follow it.

That is heavily biased and simply utter nonsense. I don't think Austrians are really ugly people and personally think Americans in general look much worse because they seem to fit in the same racial mixed stereotype. Anyways Austria is anything but closed and not interbred and especially not in the capital. I've been in Vienna for over a week and saw a bigger variety of races of the local people (excluding immigrants) there than in my northern German homeland. For some Austrians may seem uglier because the dinarid and alpinid elements are much stronger there than in other parts of western Europe and those two races aren't considered the most beautiful one by many. What your friend says is eventually just biased nonsense without any basis (maybe that applies to remote mountain villages but never to Vienna) to promote her own strange opinion to interbreed with other races. Is she American? That attitude seems to occur there more often since I've heard such things already from several Americans.

Everybody, who knows Austria a bit, knows that this statement is plain wrong. Austrians are racemixing like all the other Europeans, they are no exception. But this doesn't make them look more beautiful, quite the contrary. The next thing is, that the Germanic Austrians are allready a minority in Vienna, the capital of Austria. This city is full of Turks and other ethnicities and therefore the wrong place to look for the beauty of the Germanics, at least if you don't know where to look. When alpinids mix with nordics beautiful sub-nordic people like me are produced.

I have even thought about settling in Austria to find a wife, because there are more sub-nordic people in Austria than in the UK.

Your 'friend' hates racial purity and racial identity, and this basically makes her an evil race-hater.

I was in on this conversation with Godiva (as you might expect), and I was amazed. I've been to Austria to visit family there, and I was always very impressed with the beauty of everybody. Sure, there were ugly people, too, but a lot more of the people seemed beautiful than I'm used to.

One question I was left with after this conversation was whether Europeans generally, as this girl asserted, think Austrians are ugly. Do the Europeans here at Skadi (particularly the non-Austrians) ever hear anybody saying anything to that effect?

You have got to be joking. Europeans love Austria and love Austrian culture. Every Brit I have spoken to said that when they stayed in Austria they loved the food and the nature and said that the people were very hospitable, particularly towards the elderly! Apart from Sigurd_Erikson (haha) every Austrian I have ever met has been charming and beautiful to me, which is why I have even thought about moving there at some point.

This female who hates her own racial group will most likely end up getting bang-bonked in a black ghetto and addicted to crack and with REALLY ugly looking half breeds.... I will bet you anything on that..
