    Post Body Hair and Nordics

Are there general trends in body hair for the different Nordic subtypes? Aren't Halstatts supposed to be less hairy, and Brünns more hairy? I am a Fälisch/Halstatt mix, maybe with some Anglo-Saxon as well. I have no chest hair and little armpit hair, but fairly dense leg hair. My beard is thick and light reddish-brown, but my mustache is very thin still. Do these mean anything? Do any of you know what kind of body hair trends are typical for each Nordish subtype?

The peoples of Northern Europe, are generally less hairy than those of Central and Southern Europe. (I'm referring to body hair here.) Nordics have less body hair, and are often smooth-skinned. Brünns, being of Palaeolithic origin, possess certain archaic features, such as a tendency towards development of the body hair. Borrebys are often hairy too, and according to some theories, are part Alpine/Dinaric, which would explain this feature, because both of these latter two types, are on the average, more hairy than Nordics. In all of the Nordish types, there is a certain tendency towards baldness in later life, and the facial hair (beards particularly), is often vigorous in growth. Here is Günther on the subject of Nordic hair:

The hair is smooth and sleek or wavy in texture, in childhood it may be curly. Each hair is thin and soft and often 'like silk.' In colour it is fair, and, whether light or dark blond, always shows a touch of gold, or a reddish undertone. Nordic hair is best termed gold-blond, but it should be borne in mind that both the lighter (especially in childhood) and the darker (especially after childhood) blond hair is found.

In men and women who are light blond in youth there is often a later darkening to dark blond, or even to dark brown hair. This last case is probably to be explained on the supposition that with such persons inherited Nordic tendencies in hair-colouring are overlaid later by tendencies other than Nordic.

Red hair, in many cases, so long as it is reddish blond or golden-red, can be called Nordic. True carroty hair, however, must be held to be a phenomenon which (like Albinism) maybe found in any race (Rutilism, Erythrism).

The beard in the Nordic race has curly or rippling blond to red-blond hair; it grows fairly thick.

I dont know if Günthers words are un-defiant always:

As Living among Nordics, I have used alot of time on studying their body hair for example. I found the pattern 60% of Nordics to have thick beard and also greater tendency to body hair and I found another little half on 40 % to have less body hair and less thick beard.

Most of my Nordic friends have less beard and body hair growth.

Personally I have extremely less body hair and my beard is so white and fine that I can barely grow it out for the sake of contrast in appearance,

Rather NordischesBlutundEhre@ is aware of it or not, I think he has a point, I think its true that The hair likeliness is a contribution from Cro_Magnon genes. .

What do you mean by greater body hair? How much is greater in nordic terms?

Example: If a man has light chest hair, average amount of leg hair, etc.......

Hopefully it doesn't compare to Arab standards of body hair

Ahh its not that much, when I said "greater" I merely meant more than the less hairy Nordic types!

My uncle is good example he come from same Heirs as his brother which is my father! and my uncle is Nordic with more Hair likelyhood. where my dad has less Hair likelyhood.

Hopefully it doesn't compare to Arab standards of body hair
