Question Looking for Information on the Artamanen

I've have perused the Interent looking for information on the Artamanen-Gesellschaft movement but haven't had much luck. I was sure that if anyone could help me out it would be in this forum. I've already read what is cursory available, which doesn't amount to much, and I was trying to find some more comprehensive sources.

    Your help is greatly appreciated.

Indeed, information about them is hard to find, especially in english.

Unlike many of the other societies, The Arman Society is difficult to research, a little more clandestine than some other groups. The Arman or Armanen Group was a society advocating a German Pagan Priesthood. Their beliefs were in line with other groups that influenced the National Socialists: blood purity, a cleansing of European bloodlines for a new 'root race' and a return to Nordic Mysticism.

If Hitler's library is any indication of his involvement, one author reports an inscription, "to my dear Armanen brother" in a book found among those recovered from the salt mine storage after the war. Principles of the Arman Society were used in training of SS recruits. Part of their beliefs involve, as did Theosophy and New Templars, a re-interpretation of the Jewish "hele ben shahar" [son of the morning] or ha-shatan (satan or 'the enemy) into "lucifer" a angel of light whose reported fall appears to have been a minor incident in the rewrite.

Hmmm, my web search came up with this:

Artamanen-Gesellschaft ("Artaman League") a nationalist back-to-the-land movement that promoted clean living and a farm-based lifestyle.

Himmler and many other prominent peers joined this movement.

Not much in English here in OZ on this subject though.
