Ministry Funds Icelandic Courses for Foreigners

Ministry Funds Icelandic Courses for Foreigners

The Icelandic Ministry of Education has distributed ISK 50 million (USD 390,000, EUR 248,000) in funds for Icelandic language courses for foreign residents for the latter part of this year. Thirty education centers and companies applied for funds worth a total of ISK 96 million.

The purpose of the funding is to provide all Icelandic residents with the opportunity to achieve a sufficient level in the Icelandic language to become active members of society, Fréttabladid reports.

The ministry advertised for applications on funding for courses that aren’t part of the general syllabus for elementary and secondary schools. All education centers and companies that offer organized teaching in the Icelandic language were eligible applicants.

Why don't the foreigners themselves - or the countries they come from - fund it? They're the ones who want to become part of Icelandic society.

Take a look at the politcal parties in control of Iceland. They are open Feminists and Internationalist Liberals.

    Sad

    Disgusting as all pro-immigration efforts.
    Especially in Iceland.
