How Do You React to Criticism of Your Religion?

I wanted to start a new thread on this topic, so:

Do you feel the same? How do you react when someone criticizes your religion?

I prefer to debate and refute false criticism of atheism (although it's not a religion), if I have the time and patience to do it.

Basically the same, especially if they are being obnoxious about it, though I try not to bother the people who seem to be rational individuals and on the right path (ie, nationalists of some sort)

It is difficult sometimes. If somebody is commenting in a genuinely interested way, i.e they are not just trying to insult me, then I will try to explain to them why I think they are wrong, I have never had anyone do it in a nasty way, so I do not know how I would react. Probably in kind.

    Don't care really.

    a) I seriously doubt anyone can change my spiritual views.
    b) people have been fighting/agruing/killing over religion for thousands of years. I see it pointless to continue.

It depends on the situation, really.

I have non-Catholic and even pagan friends, and we act in a loving and respectful manner towards each other. If criticism does turn into belligerence, insults or personal attacks, I seriously question whether I want to spend time with the person. At the very least, I request that religion be taken off the table as a topic of discussion.

This is a painful topic for me. I am a convert to Catholicism, and I actually speak very little, if at all, about my religion in real life, unless directly questioned. For 11 years, two people who were close to me (non-practicing cultural Lutherans) attacked me nonstop over my conversion. Thankfully, I am now able to practice my faith without a barrage of insults because I ceased contact with both people.
'Well, what are you?" said the Pigeon. "I can see you're trying to invent something!" "I-I'm a little girl," said Alice, rather doubtfully. She found herself at last in a beautiful garden, among the bright flower-beds and the cool fountains.

Although I sometimes consent to peacefully discuss my faith with others, I will not cast my pearls before swine, or debate with those who hatefully mock my personal Savior, Jesus Christ.

Satan, the accuser, and his minions use deceitful tactics in a despicable effort to get the followers of Jesus to question their own faith. Whenever I encounter such evil conduct during a conversation, I cease responding to it.

If other folk wish to worship other gods, that's entirely their right. It isn't my place to persecute them for doing so.
Aside from an ever increasing number of mortals who have willfully chosen to worship Satan and his minions, our battle has always been against the powers and principalities operating surreptitiously throughout this twisted world.

Sometimes we have to walk away from friends because of being attacked for religious beliefs. Lutherans are known to attack Catholics. Members of different evangelical denominations criticize each other over certain beliefs. This is why I became a non-denominational Christian seeking truth in the Scriptures.
I'm a fan of Billy Graham, I miss his sermons.

One really has to check out , the persons , who start to bring points
on the table : Who is it , who starts a discussion ?

Looking back , it had been always my youngest brother , who out of
whatever reason or opportunity a few times started to talk about things like
witch burning , and existance of ghod .

Not sure , but he brought a few impulses , likely from school ,
as we boys were scattered on different schools , that I probably
should have rejected from the beginning :
Lefties music like "Die Ärzte" , "Tote Hosen" , Hashish .

But it appears , that people attract people of their own kind .
Mk 10:18 What do you call me a good master, no-one is good .

Cannot remember anymore , the last time , I had a
    conversation about religion .

I would say , that it is about Astronomy and astrology ,
that there are contradiction in the texts ,
that there is no clear direction ,
that one has to afford it ,
    god does not help ,
and there is no positive hope in hoping for the unknown .

Religion became a ritual , especially the Christian religion ,
and I never really had some great festivals around Christmas
and Easter . It were my parents , who afforded festivities .

The Christian priests are traitors to me ,
they worship their "Judas" being part of the Deep State ,
it is therefore understandable , that many small "Freikirchen" develloped ,
and somehow their purpose became that of an undertaker .
Mk 10:18 What do you call me a good master, no-one is good .

Gylfaginning 1.39 But on wine alone Odin in arms renowned Forever lives.
