    That the female participation in colonization is low is something obvious, but so big differences in male-female proportions are really interesting and good that it is proven now.

    Further reconstructions of the Guanches physically would be interesting. Is there a link for reconstructions of their "mummies"?

    Maybe someone can provide such links...
