    Pet Names

Do you and your partner use pet names? What's your opinion on pet names? Funny, silly, childish, sweet?

I think they can be silly if used to excess or used in public. In private occasionally they may be ok.

As young child I once heard an elderly couple call each other "Mummy" and "Daddy", and I remember thinking at the time it looked very odd, and I felt a bit embarrassed at witnessing it.
Close observation may result in feelings of horror, wonder and awe at world you find yourself inhabiting.

    Ehhh.....

Pet names are reserved for my family and when someone out of my family gives me I have an ''Ehhh...'' moment. They're bearable however, generally unappreciated.

I like pet names and every pet I´ve ever had got an own name. This counts for my cats and, when I had an aquarium years ago, for the fishes, too.
