What is Your Opinion on the Pope?

What is your opinion about a centralised head of church? What can be improved about the current concept, what can be improved about the concept altogether? Would you prefer a certain alternative? What is your opinion on the more recent developments of the Vatican's policy. And finally: What is your opinion about the current pope (Benedict XVI)?
-In kalte Schatten versunken...

(Heimdalls Wacht, In kalte Schatten versunken, stanzas 4-6)

Interesting questions. A good pope is a blessing, while a bad pope is a curse (i.e., the dreaded Renaissance Popes). At times, I get frustrated with central authority in general, but I also recognize its vital role in maintaining unity. Pope Benedict is a transitional pope. It'll be the next pope that'll more decisively lead the Church. Moreover, sex scandals have neutralized Pope Benedict, in an unexpected way. We really have to resolve this crisis before we can move forward, so to speak.

A centralised head of church is a dogmatic fact, it has it's source in the old and new testament as well as handed down tradition.

The Current concept of Papal authority could be improved by dropping this whole head of state rubbish and stop playing at politics. Also, Vatican press officers need removing, they are snakes. The Pope needs to exhert more authority and the developing ideas of collegiality are too dangerous for the Church to impliment.

The current Pope? Well I sort of like him at times, at others he fills me with rage. He has so much power to get rid of all the Vatican II nonsense yet he seems to agree with some of it. He has introduced some great concepts such as the "hermenutic of continuity" which has helped a lot of people understand their faith better. He can be straight talking at times, and he does have a great capacity for theological thought.

Pope Benedicts encyclicals are beautiful and thought provoking, written in plain language and not overly cryptic and sentimental like Pope John Pauls. Deus Caritas Est is particulary good. However, I must admit that some parts of Caritas in Veritata seem sketchy.

Pope Benedicts most praiseworthy and brilliant achievement is Summorum Pontificum. In this marvelous Motu Proprio the Pope has freed up the Traditional Catholic Mass from the oppression of VAtican II era priests and Bishops, allowing us young people to experience a REAL Mass.

The Pope is a good man. I sense he'd like to oppose the spread of Islam in Europe more aggressively, if Political Corretness would permit him to do so. He was a great intellectual adviser to Pope John Paul II, one of my favorite popes.

    The Pope is Jewish.
Look at the following picture of a Pope, you will see he wears a Jewish skull cap, he wears a Ephod as worn by thge Jewish high priest with 12 stones for the twelve tribes of Israel, and his crucifix doesnt even try to hide its origins as not a cross at all, but the sacred letter "T" of the Sun god Tammuz from where we get the Trinity and the December 25th birtday of thier "god" from, and for which the prophets in the Old Testament condemned the Jews for worshipping.

Back in the middle ages, Spain like most countries do from time to time, shook off thier Jewish parasite, in response the Jewish Sanhedrin issued an eddict that Jews convert to Catholicism, work thier way up the church in order to subvert and destroy it from within.
Why do you think the Catholic Church allows pediaphilia?, it helps goyim to reject thier Christian God and discredits the Catholic church.

Thier used to be something called blood libel, Jews across Europe where caught kidnapping Goyim innocent children, and mudering them in horrible blood letting ways as part of thier satanic corruption of the passover where a lamb should be sacrificed.
This is why England threw them out for 400 years until the traitor Oliver Cromwell brought them back in in exchange for thier finacing of the overthrow of British Monarchy.
Those murdered Children where beautified by the Catholic Church as saints.

Back in the 60s though, as Jewish infultration increased, the church stripped those "saints" of their sainthood in order to not offend the Jews and to try and hide the reason they where made saints in the first place.

I used to have links where the Pope can be called saying we need the (Jewish) "New World Order".

What Pope? There is no Pope.

Ratzinger is a heretic who has prayed in mosques and synagogues. This automatically strips him of any claim to the Papacy.

I'm a heterosexual racist and nationalist (more or less in a Western European context). The pope and his multicultural institution does not share my orientation, beliefs and values.

Therefore they are, if anything, a hindrance and subversive influence which needs to be grudgingly tolerated (but closely monitored) for the sake of maintaining pan-Germanic unity.

The recent worldwide revelations of child rape crimes committed by members of the Catholic Church are unforgiveable.

The pope is head of an organization that has shielded and protected such paedophiles.

    Such hypocrisy and so 'unchristian'!

Oh BTW, I was baptised a Catholic, but I am now a non-believer!
