Has anyone watched the Zeitgeist films?

Has anyone watched the Zeitgeist films? If so what are your feelings on what is particularly said of Christianity?

Have watched the first one, had good and bad points, some mistakes, some disinformation, some half truths, will watch the second one soon.

I suggest reading the book "Sieg der Arbeit", published in Leipzig in 1942 (or so...)

Saves you watching the Zeitgeist movie, at least as far as the Christian part is concerned.

Haven't read "Sieg der Arbeit" thoroughly enough myself to be able to tell, whether it also covers the Rothschild story. But I guess it doesn't.

I would say its criticisms are all true or at least half true. For instance when they speak of debt and money creation- true, but also debt forgiveness exists. In regards to Christianity yeah it seems pretty true to me. It seems that Christianity is a Jew slave religion- that is literally a religion for the slaves and peasants in a culturally Jewish society. Two sides of the coin- Jews are the elite- priests and masters and the masses are Christians. This originated in Egypt as well. Just the most basic example: Judaism: be leaders, be a priestly people, be kings among men, seek wealth and success. Christianity: be weak, be humble, be slaves among men, seek poverty and humility. There is also an "occult" neo-pagan underground elite that intertied with Jews. They practice rituals such as minerva worship (Bohemian grove) though they are steeped in Jewish influence as well.

Most inherently flawed philosophies are great at pointing out where everyone else is wrong just like a theif who gets caught and tries to rat out all his friends or say "well this guy is worse than me! Why are you after me that guy robbed a bank and killed someone!". This is what we must be aware of- avoid philosophies that lack any solid solutions or are vague about their own plans. The more they focus on how everyone else is wrong the more flawed they are. Think of Communism. As a philosophy mainly all it does is criticize others rather than stand on its own merit. Think of modern politics all the politicians are corrupt and worthless but they get by with pointing out how much worse their opponent is (mud slinging).

I have, and wasn't particularly impressed or educated on any points that it made. Mostly because after making blatantly obvious false accusations such as saying Odin is similar to Jesus and that the Gauls worshiped Thor, I simply can't take it seriously.

I have watched the two of them and to be honest the religious part of the first one held little interest for me.
What I do really like about them is that , if nothing else , they cover areas seldom seen in the mainstream media ( which is not as liberal as its made out to be ) and encourages thinking outside of the norm . Which I think is healthy.

The alternative energy part of the second one was interesting too.
By three methods we may learn wisdom: First, by reflection, which is noblest; Second, by imitation, which is easiest; and third by experience, which is the bitterest.
