I never wear dresses. Too restricting and uncomfortable. Nicely cut trousers and baggy but neat jeans are my personal preference.

As I have mention in many threads before, I prefer skirts and hardly ever wear pants. Skirts are simply easier to maneuver around. However, there are occasions that call for pants.

During blizzards when I must walk outside and all of my wool skirts are in the wash, I sometimes wear black jeans like these:

During exercise and yoga, I wear leggings like these:

When I'm hiking or camping, I occasionally opt for cargo pants like these:

As far as shorts go, I don't own any, but I'm considering getting some that are reminiscent of English explorers, like this:

I wear jeans about as often as I wear skirts. It mostly just depends on my mood. I find both comfortable.

I personally don't wear pants, unless I'm going hiking. I think I own one pair of jeans and one pair of sweatpants. I much prefer dresses and skirts because they are more comfortable. There's nothing wrong with women wearing pants though.

I bought this recently and am very fond of this style of skirt.

No, I almost never wear trousers. They do not suit me and I do not think they flatter the female form.

I alternate between knickerbockers and bell-bottoms depending on my horoscope.

Yes I wear jeans or shorts if it's summer & hot. This is the 21st century and sometimes jeans are just more comfortable and care-free than walking around in a short skirt and worrying how to sit etc. For house-work and gardening, jeans or trousers are definitely better. Remember jeans used to be a blue collar outfit.

I don't necessarily see it as anything political but I prefer the dress and I always wear dresses.

The reason why has more to do with practical reasons than anything else, I have an hourglass figure with a small waist and bigger hips so jeans and other pants weren't really designed with my type in mind, but all the cuts seem like they were better suited to the ruler type with a thicker waist and smaller hips. I have tried but I never get a good fit from jeans so I don't find them comfortable.

In winter for me it's a dress or tunic shirt with leggings and boots, and in summer a dress with pantyhose or bare legs. Or a skirt with a blouse and sandals/heels. A lot of people tell me I am too fancy, or don't I have any more "casual" clothes, but I like to dress for both comfort and style.

I have always preferred dresses and A-line skirts because I find them to be more flattering. My mother says that even when I was preschool age, I almost exclusively wanted to wear dresses. I've never been a fan of jeans because the denim usually feels too stiff and constricting, but some trousers are okay, provided they're cut right. For me, it's purely a matter of personal preference and comfort.
