I currently study at Philosophy University of Vienna, Austria. Other than that I love listening to music. In my free time I sometimes play piano and sing, but I also like to read, write or draw every now and then. I used to dance ballet when I was younger.
I am interested in my heritage and Germanic culture for quite some time now.
My father is 1/2 Norwegian, 1/2 Icelandic; my mother is 1/2 Swedish, 1/4 Norwegian, 1/4 Russian.
Not quite sure about my subrace, I think I may need some help with that someday *hehe*

Welcome to the forum. Does your family also live in Austria or is it just you going there to study?

I see most of your ancestry is Scandinavian/Northern. With which do you identify most, if any?
How is it like in Vienna? Have you learned German or are you studying in another language?

I'm living in Vienna without my family, with two friends of mine. One of the main reasons why I decided to study here is because I wish to learn German language. However I study in English for now.
My parents currently live in Kópavogur (Iceland) which is also where I was born, but we lived in Oslo for most of my life and it's where I grew up, so I think I identify most with Norwegian part of my ancestry.
