New England vs New France
What's going on with the understanding that Quebec(Normans) and Acadia(Franks) along with Lousiana were part of New France, but for some odd reason, the Tidewater Virginia colonies aren't part of New England or were they, but Virginia rebelled again for more control??? Are the French more politically aware and integrative?
1620-in home waters at England
1636-The Oak was intended for the New England flag(Connecticut's Charter Oak). It was also the original tree before some Puritan broke off the St. George flag and there were also Indians defying England's Anglicanism and replaced the oak with pine.
Maine("New England") Naval Ensign (1620-same format, just different tree was changed after 1636)
Maine("New England")/Acadia("Nova Scotia") Union Naval Ensign (c. 1707)
Protest Naval Ensign>Pine Tree takes place, French colonists model Maine("New England") after Iroquois Confederacy of 6 Nations[now six colonies/states] and declares England's law forfeit...French had escaped Acadia("Nova Scotia") and taken over Maine("New England"), changing symbols in defiance of England
1776-1812 Maine("New England") Naval Ensign(quasi-governmental flag>civil,state,war)
Maine("New England")
Since Maine is the Pine Tree State, I suppose those flags bearing the Pine were for the unofficial Maine colony in Massachusetts, generalised as "New England". Alright, I noticed most "New England" flags were naval ensigns. That's not proper for a land entity, but the last one is, with the Pine by itself. Since Pine is the Iroquois/Six Nations symbol(Tree of the Great Peace), it was chosen to make peace with the scalpers, after the French and Indian War. Here is the latter story of Maine: http://www.fotw.net/flags/us-me.html

The Spruce is the symbol for Newfoundland(Vinland)
Oldest Newfoundland flag by Anglicans, pink for Tudor rose. The Catholics had the Irish Harp/Green flag.
Labrador(Markland)Haha, and I bet that the Spruce is the local symbol for the Algonquins. Perhaps that is what led to the separation of Maine/New England Iroquois and Acadia/Nova Scotia Algonquin. Interesting.
Used aboard the Lexington; Stripes-State(white), War(Blue), Civil(Red).
First American Flag, used by Washington after Constitution signed in 1776-during the last years of battle (It's a naval flag)
This is(style officially adopted at time of 1812 war) also a Naval Ensign, not a proper state flag, and it's flag colours are those of State=white, and Civil=red...Little stars in jack are mini-Union Jacks.

True American flag, in the form accepted by international vexillogical circles.
So, the French rebelled? Those expelled from Acadia led their own revolution from the King of France? The Englishmen decided they'd be wealthier by breaking governmental ties? I get it! The French, English, Scots and Irish who left for New France, New England, Nova Scotia and Newfoundland hated their Kings, were deported by new aristocracy and wanted to own America, so chose the natives to fight with them to "preserve their homelands"! There were mostly religious and political insurgents. Ahah, just like Australia were criminals! Oh, my!
Prince Edward Island uses Oak, to signify Loyalists to King George. This is a result of Nova Scotia being sliced up for New Brunswick and P.E.I. to settle Loyalists.

I get it, post Union of the Crowns expansion into Maine and Acadia infuriated the French who were allied to Indians and changed the tree from oak to pine to show their true loyalty. Oak must be a Saxon symbol? These were very important aspects of the Rev. War. Now, why weren't we taught this??? Then, the Indian loving New Englanders united while the Saxon Virginians had mostly resented the new Union of Angles in Yankee areas for embracing the Iroquois in stead of them? Did the Angles resent the Saxons so much because the Saxon king George's line had little to do with England? King George 1 had no English speaking skills and Hannover had been fucking up the kingdom with hiring Hessians against the Angles("His own people"). But then, Saxons moving into Pennsylvania(and New Brunswick) must have been a dividing effect upon the two tribes from Britain. Adolf Hitler doesn't seem to be the only one to have made way for German expansion, people. Learn why the Civil War was fought, see why the New Englanders, Newfies and Acadiens get along better than with either of their neighbours in their countries(Quebec and Mid-Atlantic States, Ontario and Midwest, Prairie and Great Plains, BC and Cascadia, Mexico and Southwest, Caribbean and Dixie). I have sensed another thing to. They are religiously divided as well as politically including language.
