Classify Dutch actor Yorick van Wageningen.

I remember him from Winter in Wartime [see photo four].
Craniofacially, he appears very classically Faelid.
In my opinion, he is a good example of a dark Faelid. Excellent find.
Oh dear...well he looks like something more than just Faelid, I think there's some Borreby influences at work there.
Makes sense if he's Dutch. He has a really interesting face![]()
Here is a video clip of the subject where you will find him beardless.
A beardless appearance begins at around 0:25 seconds; an even better beardless appearance starts around 0:40 seconds.

Classic athletic (Kretschmer typology) and classic faelid: Heavy, solid as a rock in critical situations. The skeletal frame holding society together, the salt of the earth, but not a motor of invention, innovation, progress.
I too was thinking Faelid (proper), when I put Mr. van Wageningen up for classification. I do think he looks slightly reduced. So Blood Axis might be right.
However, I would still feel comfortable presenting him as a good example of a Faelid.
He should be in more movies. In the right roles, his morphology & physique would greatly augment his on-screen presence. Somehow I picture him as an axe swinger.
His mid and lower face is very wide and short. Some may assume Borreby influence because of this. However, classic Faelids also have these characteristics.
Sometime one becomes accustomed to the "neo-Faelid look" because more primitive-looking Faelids do not show up in the media so often. [By neo-Faelid, I mean very Faelid-looking but with longer faces; examples I have in mind are Schwarzenegger and Ballack.]
From a direct frontal view, the jaws do appear to be a little less sharp than one would expect in a Faelid type; this coud point to slight alpinization. I too considered Borreby. However, the subject does not seem high-skulled as is a tendency in the Borreby type. And in looking at photo three [the profile], I have doubts about his occipult being brachycephalized. Also, in the video I included [where there was little beard] his jaws showed some angularity at frontal and three-quarter views.
I, too, think the subject has a very primitive look.
