    Saver or Spender?

How do you administer your finances? Do you spend a lot of money on shopping and things you aren't in dire need of or do you try to save every cent? I try to save as much as possible and only buy the things I absolutely need, but sometimes I can't resist the temptation of some nice new clothes.

I'm a spender...maybe too much for my own good. Over the last years I have learned to control myself and put some money aside as well

I'm not throw around my money,
but I'm not frugal about it either.
I'm not want to spend all my life depriving myself from things to enjoy,
just to make money and keep it in banks until I'm old.
I like money for the way I'm can use it, not for being money.

Hmm, I was taught that I shouldn't be a cheap person. But I don't like the exaggeration about money nonetheless. In Romania there are some rich Gypsies who sing songs called "manele", and these singers literally throw away the money, or mimic bathing in money. If I buy something, I won't be a cheap person about it. I won't say no to a promotion or buy summer clothes in winter and viceversa because of the price reduction. But I won't buy clothes from the second hand or used things. My parents forbade me that when I was a teenager. They said quality costs and I believe it. Because if I buy something very cheap, I bought once a very cheap t-shirt and after one wash it isn't wearable anymore. But a pair of sandals which was expensive for its time, which I got three years ago, still lasts me today, so I'm not sorry for the price.

    Big Saver!
I try to live on the bare minimum. The less money you have to spend to be happy the less of a grip society has on you. It’s all about independence.

    Spender.
Odin knows you can't take it with you when you die!
Besides, even if you try to, the Valkyries at the Gates of Valhalla frisk you at the door and take it off you.
Personally I think it goes to Odin's private mead fund.
