Question Do You Look Forward to Winter?

We finally have ice and snow again, and the air is fresh. I can't wait for the knee deep snow we always get. What do you guys think? Like Winter or not?

Love the winter. During the summer I usually stay indoors, I hate the heat... it's depressing!
But Winter time comes and I'm always out running around like a maniac...
yes the air is much nicer in the winter, it's cleaner...

In winter if I stay inside I get a headache from all the artificial heat, I go outside in the refreshing cold and I feel powerful again.

I love that feeling. The air's always better when its colder outside. Thats why I like to go for walks at night. Under the heat of the summer when it's 90+ degrees, nothing moves and the air gets stale smelling, and I feel like I'm dead!

I hate summers, and summers here are hot, what is worse is that we do not get real winters in this region, just to mention I've never seen snow in my whole life, and I'd love to see it and touch it in person. Also Winters in recent years are less cold and less rainy too, which annoys me.

Its (minus - 35 degrees) here so that's alright. I dont think its cold really, I took undecided, I both love and hate the winter at the same time as I hate and love the summer at the same time. in the summer its cold here anyway so not much difference lol. Us Nordic has thin skin and no fat on our bodies so it gets cold so its important we have muscle mass to warm us up. my answer is that I love the winter but not while living in the big city. Winter belongs to the mountains and forest. here the snow gets all shattered and its un-natural to see snow in the streets and houses, but natural to see snow in the landscape, I agree with berserker about air is more clean in the winter times, The winter brings serenity and clarity while summer bring explosion and turbulence and warm steamy love.

though the average Month for Americans to loose virginity is in December.
but what does that has to do with us HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

    I love winter!
Almost everything that I enjoy happens either in the fall or winter.
Deer hunting, cross country skiing, snow mobiling, etc.
the niggers around here look at me pretty strangly when I walk outside in my shorts and a sweater when the temperature is below 30F.
It is supposed to snow between 3 and 6 inches here tonight and I hope that it is packable snow because I can't wait to take my oldest daughter outside to make snowmen and snow angels and maybe throw snowballs at any nigger who happens to grow the balls to walk by my house.
I love the look on a young childs face when they see their first snow fall and my dogs go crazy seeing it.
One of my pitbulls tries to chase every snowflake that falls and ends up yipping in frustration because she can't catch them all.
Yeah, I love winter more than any other time of the year.

About this time of year we have 30 degrees weather, which is a little warmer and a little colder.

In January some years it gets down to -5 but thats the coldest we ever get. I was born on one of those years, In January the coldest month.....

I like the winter alot better. The summer heat really bothers me. I had a hard time in the heat of Florida. I just love the NY winters but its not always easy in the winter environment. One good thing is at times in can get 20 below zero here so the people that moved here in the summer, some end up moving out because of the cold.

Yea this is not excatly Miami Vice I do however hear the Winters in New York can get very windy and stormy is that a False myth or is it true?....well no matter what, its always more easy to live in the big city when the snow comes for mankind than be stuck in a fucking desolated cabin 500 miles from civilization.

I prefer the last option but that's another fucking business, I was once about to join a Siberian Hunter job. where you lived in cabins 80 - 250 km from other cabins in the wilderness, and you would have to be there 8 months and then a plane would come and pick you up. but you had to make it on your own there, alot of them die or get their limbs froze off. I remember I been to North polar Two times in the desolated wilderness while I was out there in the purity of all, it was truly Nebular Divine.

Yes, winters in upstate NY are very windy, many snowstorms, ice and sleet.

I was working for a ski resort one winter and my job was lift attendent at the top of one of the lifts. I had a small shack to sit in and just watch skiers get off and on all day--fun eh. Anyway one day it was about 35 below in town but at the top where my shack was it was around 48 below. I'm telling you making a fire that day in the stove was rough, I threw a gallen of gas on the damn thing. I think we had 2 skiers that day.
