He looks predominantly Nordic, but in a way that's common* in these parts of Europe ( South Eastern/Eastern ). Perhaps he has some Dinarid/Pontid in the mix, or his ancestry is from parts of central Europe closer to here.
*commonly found among Nordid people in southeastern-eastern Europe.
This sort of pigmentation and phenotype is probably 'as-nordic' as a population can get in these parts.
I'll go with Faelid (German UP-Nordic).
Faelid wouldn't have such a tall head and certainly not that sort of nose.
I think I've never seen a Faelid in real life, but, this sort of phenotype is really common in these parts of Europe, Faelids are common in totally opposing parts of Europe.
he looks part faelid part pontid or corded.Originally Posted by Nordhammer
Sure they would. Faelids are highskulled. His headsize is also large and indicative of UP ancestry.Originally Posted by AWAR
What about his nose? Dinarics have big hooked noses, his nose is normal-sized and straight.
Common? Have a comparison pic? He doesn't resemble the usual Southeastern Europeans I've seen.Originally Posted by AWAR
Definately Nordic -- Scandinavian. Ears are too little to be a British type.
Have I said he's 100% Dinaric? Anyway, Dinarics do not have big hooked noses, at least not on average, they do however have convex noses.Originally Posted by Nordhammer

Stop misquoting what I said.

As I said in my previous posts, this sort of face/phenotype/pigmentation can be found easily in southeastern or eastern Europe. It's not a significant portion of the population, but it is everyday sort of face, unlike any of the examples of Faelid on www.nordish.com who would certainly look like foreigners in the Balkans.Originally Posted by Nordhammer
I don't know of any celebrities who look like him, but I do know personally at least a dozen people who do.
In any case, my intention was to determine what influences are visible in Til Schweiger's phenotype, not have a lengthy discussion about Balkan anthropology, especially not with you.
