    I usually drink this milk:

Ecological light milk It is best served cold, and it tastes delicious.

Yellow/white cheese, its the most favorite cheese in Norway. Its a Gouda-cheese and has a mild taste.

    Other dairy-products we use:

Sour-cream (rømme in Norwegian), usually use the light type with 20% fat, but there is also a type called mountain dairy with 35% fat which is very good for use in food. In Norway we use sour cream in dinner dishes, on pancakes, waffles (usually with strawberry or raspberry yam on top). And also for rømmegrøt

Whole milk, it has more fat and is richer in taste. Very nice for food, it has 3,9 gram fat per 100 gram milk.

Yoghurt Naturell This youghurt has 3,9% fat and is good to eat as it is or you can have it over your cereal, in sauces, in dressings and in bread and other baking food. It is also in a ecological variant, but my store here dosnt keep it in stock. This type of youghurt is also very good for your stomach system.

Smoked salmon is one of my favorite foods, but other fish dishes I would recommend are boiled cod, coalfish-"cakes" fried in the pan, coalfish-"steak" and salted cooked Norwegian haddock
We usually eat those with fried onions, boiled potato, torn carrots and some melted butter on the fish. Here is a dish with cod:

How open are Norwegians to multiculturalism? It's said the Nordic countries are the most liberal Germanic countries.

For the religious part Norway is largely christian, but the christianity here is filled with old heathen customs. Like the celebration of yule (we call it jul), where you celebrate that the sun is returning. Many Norwegians has one of these for yule, but dont know the meaning:

Its a represantion of Tor that is protecting the house and family in the darkest time of the year. Norwegians usually also have a yule tree, spend alot of time with family, eat lots of good food and drink good brew.

Other religious customs are summer solstice, which the christians call "Saint Hans", usually people light large fires over all of Norway.
    Like this:

Easter (påske) was also a heathen tradition, I think it was called ostarafest in Germany. Usually many Norwegians go up in the mountain to skii in this time, maybe to watch the sun come back earlier than in the lower areas? We eat oranges (sun worshopping?) and the children get "eggs" with candy, and paint normal eggs. And also we have the easterbunny. I dont know any Norwegians that celebrate Jesus in the easter, I guess its mostly old people doing that.

Most Norwegians are baptised and confirmed in the church, mostly out of tradition. I dont know any Norwegians that attend church when there isnt a baptise, confirmation, wedding or funeral.

Alot of Norwegian tradition and customs vary alot from place to place as many villages are not connected to each other and lie in isolated places.

Norway has alot of different cultures from before, but here I think you mean the foreign culture and immigration? The labour party has tightened its immigration policy, mostly to draw voters away from the capitalistic progress party. It seems like more and more Norwegians are getting fed up with this multicutural experiment, they see that it dosnt work. But the politicians dosnt listen to the people, even while there is wide disagreement with the immigration there has been no national votes like that we had for possibly entry to the european union. But not all Norwegians dare to say what they think, if you speak open about it you are branded as a rascist and nazi. Some Norwegians use a "lighter" version and say they are ok with immigration as long as the people integrate, but many really are against immigration.

We have alot of illegal immigrants here, more than 20 000 people have escaped from asylum since the mid-90's, and some socialist feminist politician wanted to give them all citizenship. I wonder how many illegal immigrants that have come from over the border. In Oslo now 1 out of 3 citizens are born outside of Norway, and I'm sure we will see ghettos like Rosengård in Malmö forming.

There has been some debate about that the national statistic agency shouldnt list ethnic and cultural background of people in crime statistic, cause this was appereantly rascist... Also we had alot of talks in media recently about allowing hijab for policewomen, but it looks like this wont happen. Personally I would be fine with it, it would just promote segration.
Also a school in Oslo that wanted to have muslim students only was denied, but I think it would have been a good idea.

Yes, that's what I meant. Thanks.

Another question: What about the Sami? Are they seen as "white" by the Norwegians? Is it acceptable for Norwegians to marry Sami?

Most Samis in Norway live in Oslo and behave and act just like Norwegians. I would say many has lost their cultural background. Norwegians view them as white and its perfectly acceptable to marry a Sami.
Some people dont like the Sami because they are given special privelige. Like there are laws protecting Sami culture, while there are none for Norwegians.
Also Sami are the only ones allowed to keep reindeers here, but many of them cheat and have more than they are allowed to. There has also been some talks about how their snowmobiles are damaging the fragile ecosystem up there, and also that many wolves have been "mysteriously" killed in Sami-controlled areas.

    It is a spread.

Messmör (”whey butter”) and Mesost (”whey cheese”) are products made from whey, the part of the milk that’s left over after you take all the good stuff out of it when making cheese. Sound weird? It gets weirder.
Since it is made from leftovers, it is not very fatty (about 5,5g fat per 100g “butter” according to the labels) but it is very sweet and contains a lot of milk sugars, calcium and iron. It is supposedly very healthy and if you get to know it as a kid, you will love it.
Most of it is made in Norway, and it can be made from cow, sheep or goatmilk, although I suspect the original is supposed to be from goat milk. You buy the cheese in blocks and the butter in small containers.
    It's delicious.

How much coherent sense does Siv Jensen (and her FRP) make on matters economic and political (other than being stridently anti-immigrant)? I hear Jensen attended the Bilderberg conference two or three years back.
