Nothing wrong with freckles. In my opinion the use of lots of make up unfortunately only feeds and perpetuates further phobias and obsessions with looks. I can't speak for other people's views on the topic but I vastly prefer the natural look on people vs some kind of mask of something that isn't really them.

PS, judging from your photos your looks are the least of your problems.

I'm not a frecking teen anymore but in my midst 20ies so I really have to grow up and end that shitty troubles with my looks.
Yep, there are way more important things to concern one's self with, like becoming competent at a job and gaining confidence from that, learning how to deal with and understand people etc.

It took me too long to figure these things out myself, so all I can say is - rather get started with it sooner rather than later.

Yes, but not that much. I've got a good anough face and a well developed body at medium height, so I'm not worried.
Leaving all this crap aside, what matters isn't your attractiveness or your physical appearance (what you can't change such as your body, nobody will like you if you're obese, unkept and smelly), it's what you give to humanity that matters.

There is always that saying Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's kind of open to different views. Beauty is also considered subjective and what's seen as the standard beauty isn't appealing to others.

Also the title of the thread LOL "Are you beautiful?".There is nothing whatsoever at all wrong with considering yourself beautiful. If you think you are very gorgeous then it's healthy to think that. Give yourself some credit.
(It doesn't matter how old the song is, I won't stop liking it).

I also laughed when I saw the name of the thread...

I prefer natural beauty, I don't like to wear make up, or dye my hair, or even worst, wearing coloured lenses (who the **** invented that???). I remember I've seen once a very tanned girl, with very brown skin, with the hair dyed light blonde and obviously wearing lenses for her eyes to appear blue. WTF again??? She looked like a "painted crow" (there's a saying like that in my mother tongue), really bad in my opinion... I think she may have looked much better how Mother Nature created her, and not trying to be obviously what she wasn't! But all these "beauty standards"...

However, the first thing that came to my mind when reading the name of the thread was "Hmmm, you should ask my man that question, not me!" Of course, when we are in love, we see the one we love through the eyes of love, so we may see them even much more beautiful than they are, but there's nothing wrong with that, we help them bring out the best of themselves.

Also, loving ourselves is a good things too... but not to fall in another extreme, of course.

When I was much younger I didn't like myself, I wanted to look accordingly to different "beauty standards" (which were not only wrong, but also unhealthy)... But I learned to love myself over the years... thanks to my significant other, who was able to see the beauty in me... Looking now at older pictures of me, from when I was "much younger and much more beautiful", I am thinking "oh, my God, how cute and pretty and beautiful I was... and I was so stupid to believe I was not!"... I wasted precious time of my life thinking I was less better than I was. However, I was lucky to have met that man... who was able to love me and appreciate me as I was!

I never liked to wear make up... it's like wearing a mask... However, I had some times in my life when I did that... and I was not liking my face without make up... Now I like it without make up... and I didn't put any make up on my face for months, or even for years, I can't even remember when I did that last time...
Die Farben duften frisch und grün... Lieblich haucht der Wind um mich.

The natural appearance of both men and women changes throughout their lives as they age. Some individuals appear to be more attractive when they're younger. Some appear to be more attractive when they're older. But I still believe beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.
Aside from an ever increasing number of mortals who have willfully chosen to worship Satan and his minions, our battle has always been against the powers and principalities operating surreptitiously throughout this twisted world.

I think everyone is aware of some moments when we feel attractive, but it's really an appraisal meant for others to say about us. Whether we love or hate our own images, is far more biased than assessments made by others.

Yes. I have lived very unhealthy as a teenager but still look decent thanks to genetics. Others live a perfect life and die ugly, at the age of 19. Life is unfair.

My ancestors were beautiful, that's a great privilege not many people have.

I am, however, not a "prime example" and not perfect, albeit a perfectionist and an idealist. There is tremendous potential that yet has to unfold, as is the case with most European men these days. May our ancestors guide us.

Beauty is a burden for a man. A standard. A male 8 will not like to date a female 4, nor should he have to, but everybody wants a woman who is an 8.

For women, it is the complete opposite. Beauty means unlimited power. And you see beautiful women who freely date uglier men for their status, when they could be with men of beauty equal to their own or greater. The question is, where does that leave the good looking men?
