Red Hair in Germany?

This maybe a dumb question, but are there red heads in Germany? Did any of the German Tribes have red hair?

I am only asking this because one day I want to move to Germany. I have a tint of red in my hair. I just don't want to stick out. Majority of my heritage is German, but I do have Scottish in me too.

Obviously, there are redheads in Germany! However, they are definitely not as common as they would be in England, Wales, Scotland, Ireland, Iceland and Norway.

I used to work with a German American redhead female Wiccan who swore up and down that she was not Irish, just German and that Germans are redheads too.

Molly Ringwald, however, is a German American brunette with an Irish name.

Actually red heads including those who have reddish-blond hair, are after blond People, pretty common in Germany. There are different kind of red hair, though. As far I as I know red hair was not uncommon among the ancient Germanic tribes.

The only famous German redhead I know is Boris Becker from Baden-Württemberg. But his hair colour is/was quite a blond tone of red.
