A Mhilesian, I don't actually know where it comes from, i read it many years ago and it's always stuck with me perfectally since then which is quite a sign i suppose.

the sig is from ''When i was on horseback'' The Steeleye Span is the definitive one in my collection atleast.
Oh no, I'll probably have to check them out as well now!
Just as my compulsion to listen to Dearg Doom was diminshing!
By the way have you heard "Loneliness" by Horslips? (silly question probably!)

Loki, if I was Vanessa I'd be extremely scared with this haunting fixation of yours

you do have to check them out straight away. start with ''blackleg miner'' classic song. theyre electric folk mainly....excellent band.
wait until you hear the drums kick in in ''blackleg..'' My very very (veryvery) musical Father always tells me what a big moment that was for Irish folk and all folk rock.....

I want to be buried alive in a giant pyramid, with massive amounts of beer, food, spirits, my library and my CD collection.
And all my youth passed by sad-hearted,
    the joy of Spring was never mine;
Autumn blows through me dread of parting,
and my heart dreams and longs to die.

    - Nikolaus Lenau (1802-1850)

Real misanthropes are not found in solitude, but in the world; since it is experience of life, and not philosophy, which produces real hatred of mankind.

    - Giacomo Leopardi (1798-1837)

I want to have the biggest pyramid ever built. Myself embalmed and placed inside. I will speak to the people from the other world and they will worship me.

    Or...

I want to fall dead some place where my body will be preserved and 250,000 years from now, scientist will discover and examine it, and conclude that, I was a very fine Homo sapien. That during my time and afterwards, races mixed causing evolution to go backwards. That it took, 100,000 years to re-evolve to a more advanced state.

I didn't realize that phlegethon was posting the same idea at approximately the same time.

I think we should make Scathach build both of them by herself.

The Irish are not really famous for their architects or designers, anyway.

Nevertheless, I think women should build my pyramid. I think after all they've done to me they owe it to me. It may also help them to get off their couches, into the fresh air and back into shape, so they should actually thank me for that.

And just think, a future Geraldo Rivera can open up your tomb in front of a live audience.
Turman found a copy of The Graduate, and thought highly enough of the story that he made a movie he considered to be 90-percent faithful to the book.

But Turman and director Mike Nichols made one key adaptation, changing the Braddocks from WASP-y blonde characters into a dark-haired, more ethnic-looking family.
