A True is anything that is not a False.![]()
-In kalte Schatten versunken...
(Heimdalls Wacht, In kalte Schatten versunken, stanzas 4-6)
Could you clarify just exactly what you are asking,?
Everyone has their own truth...
"We've become a nation of strangers. There seems to be very little in common to bond us to our fellow Americans outside of our immediate families, some don't even have that to fall back on."
In the words of Pontius Pilate "Que es Veritas?"
The truth is, that man is on the street.. Or is a paid model for a shoot..
What got him there?
Kicked out by his parents? Can't pay rent because of drug abuse?
Got offered alot of money to pose for a commercial of the United Way, or Goodwill?
Oh the possible scenarios..
If this is regarding homelessless ... well, it is often hard to think it can happen to you when everything is going well. But not all people are equally lucky in this life, I won't judge lest I be judged.![]()
I agree Loki..
I've been homeless before.. .. Girl issues, ya know..... But I didn't have a drug habit to support so I didn't sit on the street and beg for change in order to buy myself a beer..
Nope, instead, I crashed on couches and sold my body for grilled cheese and macaroni..
One can true the spokes on their bicycle.
Maybe that guy could be a bicycle messanger to earn some cash and subsequently get himself off the street.
The sleeping bag looks to be in good shape. That might be true.
lol, I think this is a lesson on the results of asking obtuse, strangely worded questions
It's not about about begging or being homeless, supposing you didn't toss a coin to the homeless one, would you feel guilty ? How about those organization that begging their citizens to donates to their humanitarian projects in Africa, and so on? Why would one, more willingly giving away to these kind of organizations and charities, instead of private people? Would you toss a coin cos he's a white or he's a black? Or neither of these ?
It's not, however how one understands philosophical question, there isn't any standard way how one should speak about philosophy.![]()

If I have the means, I would feel guilty passing people who are struggling, without helping out (when and if I can). It is more real for me to give to people who I can see, than just dump money onto a charity. Most of these charity organisations ship everything to Third World countries. I believe charity starts at home. We must look after our own (white) people first, before thinking of giving to the rest.
