    The Last Respectable US President?

Bill Clinton threw away his chances after the demise of the Soviet empire. Bush II was a bitter disappointment close to disaster. The next one will either be a OAP or a son of a goat herdsman from *Bushmania*.

So the question is: Who was the last respectable US president?
    Ron Reagan? Bush Sr.?

Bush senior, he did a fairly good job of representing what (American)conservatism is supposed to be about, financial responsibility and getting government out of people's lives. I suspect he'd be regarded as a pretty good president, if he hadn't been unfortunate enough to be stuck holding the bag after Reagan messed everything up. His son, unfortunately, governs along the lines of Reagan far more than his father, only without Reagan's charisma.

Warren G. Harding. All the Presidents after him and a few before, were statists.

After the Great War he cut taxes & regulation and he did not intervene in the 1921 recession, which allowed the market to quickly re-adjust and purge mal-investments.

Re; Reagan, he talked a good game, but nothing more.

GEORGE WASHINGTON, in Maxims of George Washington by A. A. Appleton & Co.: They (the Jews) work more effectively against us, than the enemy's armies. They are a hundred times more dangerous to our liberties and the great cause we are engaged in ... It is much to be lamented that each state, long ago, has not hunted them down as pests to society and the greatest enemies we have to the happiness of America.

I second Pro-Alpine in that the last 'president'-President (as opposed to puppet-President, Bozo-President, etc) was Bush senior.
Not judging his politics, but at least, he could stand on his feet and not make a ridicule out of himself everytime journalist asked an unusual question --or so I remember, I was young

As to who was the best President...or at least, the last really good President...I'll leave it up to Americans to judge that.

Reagan was the last decent one.

Coolidge was the last actually 'great' one, he was pro free market and also put in place the 1924 immigration act which severely limited non-Germanic immigration.

What is meant by respectability here? A personal quality? Carter or even Ford. Being the one really in charge as opposed to being an actor fronting for unseen others? Clinton. Competence at the task? Again, Clinton. Agreement with my political views? Madison.

Richard Nixon. He was Pro Anglo Saxon.Saxon Bush Sr. was pro money.

Churchill and FDR did not do anything to stop a war with Germany, Even though they were both germanic. So much Germanic blood was spilled because of statism. It was horrible. Not that germany was not bone- headed also, attacking Holland was also wrong. Rotterdam bombing for example was very wrong.

A good leader in a Germanic country has to say, "Is this good for out Volk",
when making decisions. Anglo saxons of course have the same responsability.

Clinton?? He became only the second U.S. president to be impeached. True, by 1998 the Clinton administration was overseeing the first balanced budget since 1969 and the largest budget surpluses in the country's history, and the lowest unemployment rate in nearly 30 years.

In foreign affairs, however, he was close to a disaster. The three-month bombing campaign against Yugoslavia designed to end Serbian attacks on ethnic Albanians in the province of Kosovo, brought anti-Western hardliners to power in Moscow.

Clinton did not care for his people. neither did the Bush regime. America has been so infiltrated and wrapped into so may "ubholy alliances" that it is not a Country anymore, or maybe not a germanic Country.

The Neocons *are* controlled by the capitalists and the Zionists. From that perspective, Obama may be better for Germanics than MacCain
